I changed the favourite album choice on my Profile page about two weeks ago. Officially it's now VLVODAAHF... but I get pangs of guilt about it. I feel like I'm betraying AROBTTH.

I'd agree with that list - I'd just switch Viva and AROBTTH around. And there's only one song in it.

 

I don't think there's a duff one on VLV, but I really hate Whisper on AROBTTH. It's one of only 3 Coldplay songs that I can't listen to

I really liked x&Y when it came out, but it's now been absolutely blown out of the water by Viva, which is better in every department, and on which every track's a "winner".:cool:

I chose VLV as well, simply because I love each song on it! :)

On the other albums, there's usually at least one song which doesn't touch me like the way the others do. ;)

It does. I feel exactly the same about it.:D

My first Coldplay album I actually bought was the special Dutch edition of X&Y, wich has all the b-sides on a bonus disc.

In the beginning I really loved the bonus disc with Sleeping Sun, Gravity, The World Turned Upside Down. The rest of the album was harder to get into. Now, I love X&Y just as much as I love the other 3 LP's, just in another way :) Maybe a little less :p

Here's how I rank Coldplay's albums:

 

1. A Rush of Blood to the Head

2. Viva la Vida or Death And All His Friends

3. X&Y

4. Parachutes

 

It's really, really close between Viva and X&Y, and I could actually see myself switching the two albums around. But I'll keep it like this.... for now. ;)

AROBTTH of course because I'm just not into Shiver on Parachutes, Til' Kingdom Come on X&Y & Lovers In Japan (The acoustic version aswell) on VLVODAAHF. Anyway, here's how I sort them:

 

01 - AROBTTH

02 - Parachutes

03 - X&Y

04 - VLVODAAHF

I really loovee VLV but I must stay loyal to AROBTTH!!:D

i love em all but A rush of blood is so perfect! viva is amazing too... parachutes has some good ones and same with x&y

I agree with Justin, AROBTTH for me too. :)

 

i think that each one will choose the album in which they got into Coldplay surely :thinking:

Nah, I became a fan during Parachutes. LOVED AROBTTH. However, VIVA wins for me only by a nose.

Great comment, replacing A Whisper (with either I Ran Away, or Crest of Waves) would make AROBTTH clearly the strongest album.
