Getting a Set list

So I'm pretty new to the whole concert scene, sad I know, but I am fully making up for lost time.

I went to both the Coldplay shows in Inglewood, but just jetted out after. So for this upcoming Anaheim show I got tickets in the 1st 10 rows, and I wanna try and get a set list or some kind of momento from the band.

Any tips, should I butter up the security or make some signs or just stay after the concert is over and wait for someone to show up?

Any advice would be great!

Hi there. I got a set list from Matt, Jonny's guitar tech, at the Philly show 7/25/08. I was seated on the floor 12 row. I had actually left the venue early during encore to see the boys off. I got to see them speed away with their police escort.

I decided to go back in. By this time the show was over and tons of people were making their way out. I got to the floor again and told the security guard I left my phone behind. I approached the stage and saw Matt and called his name a few times. At first I felt like he was completley ignoring me as hge didn't even look my way. So I turned around to leave and I hear someone calling. And there is Matt climbing to the lower level from floor to hand me a setlist. I framed it with some of the confetti butterflies.

GOOD LUCK. YOU CAN GET ONE!

Just stick around a bit after the show ends.

Let us know what you get.

as soon as the roadies get on stage after the show, just yell for a setlist, push everybody around and you need to have long arms . I got mine from Matt as well. You can also hurry and ask the two cameramen on each side, we got two setlists from them.

Someone in Anwterp made a sign 'setlist please' which i thought was kinda rude as she didnt even make one for the band itself .. but it worked so you might want to try it.

And we also got four setlists from the opening act Albert Hammond Jr, two were given to us by a roadie and the other two from the bassplayer himself !

GOOD LUCK ! :)

I got the first Jonny setlist of the tour. :smug:

I was just in front of him and quite obviously paid him the most attention compared to those around me....

:)

You just have to have the luck with you? Ive been at the front for a number of gigs....sometimes random people push through and steal the setlist when it's being handed out.

I'm so happy I got it at Brixton.

My question to you is, How did you manage to get the first ten rows?!?!?!!?!?!:)

I managed to win tickets through KROQ's coldplay contest. If you were caller 20 you got tickets in the first 10 rows for their gig in Anaheim. Just that morning the ticketmaster tickets were put on sale, and they all got sold out before I could even find any, so it was a sheer miracle!

I know another radio station is giving away tickets & the chance to meet them this weekend, its STAR98.7 if you want to try for anyone living in socal.

I got mine from the guys in the directoring area, in the middle of the standing area.

I stayed after the show ended and asked them if they had something i could bring home as a souvenir. I thought no one heard me, but as i walked away, a guy from sound management handed me a setlist. We talked a bit, he was nice. I told him I already went the night before, and that they really did a great job.

So i think if you stay a bit after the show finishes, you could be lucky.
