What did you use for the base jacket? Did you make the actual jacket or did you buy it somewhere? Or perhaps a thrift store?

The jackets on this thread look great.

 

I have a suggestion for making the V t-shirt. I would put a piece of cardboard under the shirt so the shirt is flat and then draw the V on it. I would think a housepainting brush would work well since the V is a little messy on the shirt. Not sure what kind of paint or method that they actually use. Maybe sprayed painted?

Thanks everyone. Yeah I used a jacket I had from years ago, cost me about 30 bucks (australian..).

 

For the shirt, I cut a stencil of the V and spray painted it.

I've finished my jacket today........it's the girl version - a bit shorter than Chris' jacket ;)

I did the Chris Martin jacket for my Halloween party... w. the red V shirt... a Speed of Sound bracelet, a Make Trade Fair bracelet... and my Rock Band guitar to bring it altogether...

 

too bad only 1 person recognized who I was :-P

It was a promo with Best Buy during X&Y's release (though I bought mine on eBay)... red one for Speed of Sound and blue for X&Y...
