September 11, 200916 yr Not sure. I've never been in that direction when there's a concert on and its my first time at LCCC. still trying to work out what I'm going to do about parking. I was thinking of parking at work (which unfortunately doesn't help you :( ) but think even that's a bit close. if you're going to park on the road, be careful as there are alot of residents only parking streets on match/concert days. Thanks! I guess we'll just leave early so we'll hopefully be ok.:) I can't believe it's tomorrow, I'm so excited :dance:

September 11, 200916 yr Didnt realise the yellow glowstick thing was happening for manchester as well. Will have to try to get hold of some in the morning, if not then its gonna have to be a case of me asking around at the gig or bartering for one! Got my rocawear t-shirt and my 2005 coldplay tour t shirt both ready as well as my camera. Cannie wait, its gonna be brilliant!

Have fun tonight and tomorrow! x We had a great evening, thanks :) Checked out trams, and they are running through St Peters Square, but only one track through the station is open. quite a few went past whilst we were eating, so should be fine :) We stopped off at LCCC on the way back home from town. Those hard-working roadies are currently testing the lights and its 23:30 :shocked2:

Jizo Chris, what a star, not only did he shell out £££ on 2 bottles of champers, he bought us all presents! :dance: L-R: Mich, Alison, Jen, Lori, Min, Pete, Chris, Ian, Mel @Vivacrew and @ColdplayingHQ will be tweeting live from the venue from the wee hours of the morning, by which time I am reliably informed that Rock Steady Security will have succumbed to the Coldplayers' incessant questioning about queues, opening times, barrier entries etc. At which point me Chris and Pete will be safely in the pub until it is time to return. until then, zzzzzzzzzzzz..... :snore: P.S Drove back via the venue at LCCC, and its all switched on!!

September 12, 200916 yr Author Morning boys & girls. I would like to announce that Coldplaying has the hardest fans!!! :lol: Just dropped Ian off to join min, Mich & Mel. They are the first people at the venue other than security & other people being paid to be there. Anyone who's heading down to LCCC, they're at entrance 4 on Great Stone Road (opposite side of the stadium to the tram stop). After checking it out this morning, and talking to security, they decided it was the most promising entrance, not least because it appears to be nearest to the stage trucks.

September 12, 200916 yr Author Hi guys first time poster so sorry for asking a question. but do you know how my chances are for getting a tram/bus back into manchester city centre for the 11:20 back to liverpool. i am really looking forward to this gig it is my 4th time seing coldplay. mark welcome to the board :) I've never tried it so not too sure, but think you might be pushing it. capacity is 50,000, so tram stop will be very busy. when the football's on, the trams are packed to the rafters and they have crowd control on the station. the roads will be busy too for getting a bus/taxi. the show is due to finish at 10:30pm. is your train from Victoria? and do you know if it goes through Oxford Road or Deansgate stations? or even either of the salford stations?
