September 13, 200917 yr HELP! IMPORTANT I need some help! I have to collect my tickets booked at Ticketline at the box office at midday (now changed to 11 am) the 19th. In an email from them, they say: "Please see the link to the seating plan on the Wembley Stadium website. The grey letters are turnstile entrances which you will be able to use. When you collect your tickets from the box office, the gates will be stated on the physical ticket which I unfortunately do not have access to, however the member of staff at the box office will be able to direct you to the closest gate. The West Stand box office is now opening from 11am. Normally around this time you do not get large queues at the gates, due to there being so many gates. You can collect your tickets from 11am, then get to a gate in plenty of time for the gates opening, and before the queues get too big. Alternatively, as you have purchased 2 tickets you could find a place in the queue at a gate close to the box office with the person you have the other ticket for, then go to the box office to collect the ticket, while your friend holds the place in the queue. Apologies if this email is not sufficient, if you have any other queries please let me know and I will try my best to help you." This is the link she gave me http://www.wembleystadium.com/NR/rdonlyres/4AB1271D-E101-4E69-9DED-341FB36D9549/0/WS_L1_2008.pdf She makes it sound like it doesn't matter what entrance I wait at. Can this possibly be true? I have booked GA standing tickets by the way.
September 13, 200917 yr Aww that sounds good ! Seems like she says that you can wait in front of any door Julie :nice:
September 13, 200917 yr I am just afraid of being rejected at the gate by the ticket checker when they open at 4 pm because it is not the gate stated on my tickets! On the list of Coldplayers entering this concert, are all the people where it says which gate is stated on their tickets - do they all have GA standing tickets? I can understand that at least H, J, M, N, B and C leads to the GA field. Am I right?

September 13, 200917 yr It's something we're trying to work out. Someone at Wembley said by phone to Mariana any GA entrance is good, but apparently they haven't answered her e-mail. I wrote to them as well today, and I'll see if they answer me. Maybe you could answer the e-mail from ticketline and ask her to carify the matter? :idea2: I also tried searching the boards of other bands that played Wembley, but no result so far
September 13, 200917 yr I think we'll be sure about that during the next week :nice: I hope so  Cause it would be awful to be rejected at the gate when you had lined up many hours :\ The weather is really looking fine!
September 13, 200917 yr Does anyone know what songs they will be playing? Will it just be mainly from the new album? Thanks.
September 13, 200917 yr Yeah, mainly since it's the Viva la Vida tour, but if you want you can check the setlist from the previous shows :nice:
September 13, 200917 yr Yeah, mainly since it's the Viva la Vida tour, but if you want you can check the setlist from the previous shows :nice:DIdn't think of that, thanks :)
September 13, 200917 yr I am in the same crappy situation with the standing tickets in the box office. The guy at see tickets had exactly zero solutions for me, and explained me very nicely how screwed i am.
September 13, 200917 yr ^^What ?? What did he say exactly ? :\ @Johku : thank you so much ! I took this picture :cheesy:
September 13, 200917 yr he did not tell me that "it doesnt matter which gate you queue at as long as its a GA one". He could not tell me when the box offices at wembley open. He could not redirect the tickets to my hotel. I was told strictly that it is not possible to collect them on friday. We travel to London 5 friends from israel. We booked the tickets in three seperate orders. we might get really screwed up because each order will get a different gate...
September 13, 200917 yr :uhoh: that sucks! I'm right now reeeeally hoping that we'll get to queue at any gate, because otherwise me and Linda might also have to queue at different gates! and that would suck so much! :( but I'm trying to stay positive and just hope that everything works out just fine Yeah that's my biggest fear at this moment :\ Now I hope so much that we will be able to queue at any gate, but if that's not possible I hope that me and Johku have the same gate. But if not, then I hope that someone else have the same situation so we could switch tickets somehow.. uhm don't panic don't panic don't panic :uhoh:
September 13, 200917 yr It would be a good idea if somebody who is already in London could visit the box office in person and not leave until they've got the definitive answer from the person in charge (and also take the person's name in case there's any "funny business" on the day. Is there anybody who could do this??
September 13, 200917 yr Haha I was looking for a nice video for you, and look what I found... Monkey Chris is just priceless  [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XbUVMaKnXn4&feature=related]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XbUVMaKnXn4&feature=related[/ame]
September 13, 200917 yr Spare ticket going If it helps those wanting to queue early, I have 1 spare standing ticket going. The price would be face value + PP - PM if interested. Who is meeting up, and at what time on Sat to guarantee front row? If anyone would like to meet up early PM me as I'm keen to be a front-rower this time round (after being right at the back @ the 02 gig last December!)

Wembley Park station - you have to get either the Jubilee Line or Metropolitan Line, think from Kings Cross its better to get the met line but not sure. check http://www.tfl.gov.uk P.
