April 6, 200917 yr just finished part nine! here it is! it's kinda short. SEE YOU SOON. PART NINE I quickly got into a black tank top, jeans and boots. Chris changed into a black t-shirt and green cargo pants he’d brought in his suitcase. We both loaded our bags into Chris’s Range Rover sitting outside. It was a gorgeous morning. The sun was just warming up the city and there wasn’t a cloud to be seen. When I walked down the steps I noticed someone standing on the street out of the corner of my eye. I dropped the last bag into the trunk and turned around. There was a man hovering behind a lamp post across the way, snapping pictures of the two of us. “How the hell did they find you?” Chris looked up, moaned, and put another bag in the trunk. “Just ignore them.” He said. “They had to find out sometime.” I smiled and got in the passenger seat of the car. Chris locked the front door of my place, and got in the driver’s seat. “Ready?” I was more than ever. I didn’t want Chris to see it but I was incredibly excited. The last time I had ever been on vacation was probably when my parents were still alive, let alone ever with a rock star. Chris put the key in the ignition and turned the car on. When we got to JFK, instead of doing what I was used to, being a regular citizen, Chris drove around to the back, basically where the planes were. When we got around the corner I noticed a smaller plane sitting right in front of us with an enormous “VIVA” written on the side. I couldn’t help but giggle. Chris parked the car safely away from the planes and two men dressed in black suits took our bags. This was the life. I took Chris’s hand and we walked over to the plane where a familiar man was standing at the stairs. “Chris.” he said, giving him a rather manly hug. “Dr. Pitt.” “Oh please,” I smiled brightly. “call me Sophie.” I followed Chris up the fancy looking stairs onto an even fancier plane. The entire thing was cream colored. Cream colored walls, seats, and plasma t.v.s on the back of each one. The first thing I noticed though was the bar. “Soph”, Chris said, walking me down the plane. “this is our best friend Jonny Buckland.” “Hi!” I said happily, friendly kissing me on the cheek. “It’s so nice to meet you.” “Oh and you too! It’s finally nice to put a face to the person who’s been stealing our lead singer.” I could see Chris’s face turning red out of the corner of my eye, and all I could do was laugh. Chris took me on to Will and Guy, who were both very sweet, talking about how Chris talks about me all the time. Every time they’d say something like “oh Chris never stops talking about you” or “this is the first time in a long time we’ve ever met one of his girlfriends” I could feel Chris squeeze my hand a little tighter. We took our seats in the front and Chris got us a couple of bottles of water. He went up to the DVD player and yelled “Movie anyone?” through the plane. “What do you got?” Will asked. “I’m so sick of Back to the Future.” Chris flipped through a few DVDs, looked up at me and smiled. “This is my favorite movie. Ever.” he said, sticking a DVD in. I smiled and looked at the screen in front of me. Suddenly “Psycho” started playing. “Are you kidding me?” I chuckled, as Chris put his arm around my shoulders. “This is my favorite movie.” Chris kissed my head and pulled a warm blanket over us. “Seems like we have a little more in common than we thought.” :D!!  WONDERFUL CHRISTINA!!!!:D:D:D:D:D that was great..."this is our best friend Jonny Buckland....":laugh3::laugh3: yes chris would say that!!! :wacky: man u guys are good at these lil stories....

I love that movie so much! the 1960 version though. I don't like the one with vince vaughn :\ .. (part 9 was great by the way )
April 6, 200917 yr Christina!!!! Excellent as ever!!!! I posted part 5 of New York to LA I guess it REALLY sucked!!!:embarassed: I don't think anyone read it, it's ok, please be honest, it won't hurt my feelings:kiss: I guess it is not very fantasy like, I was trying to show why in a fictional way, why Chris could be so private about his life in real time. OK IT SUCKED, LOL LOL.
April 6, 200917 yr Lol no! I actually went back and read it. I dunno, I like yours cause I love drama and misery and all that good stuff. As long as it's fake. :P You should keep going.
April 6, 200917 yr OH Thank God, I thought I was looking like an idiot, and nobody wanted to tell me!!! I am really honest and tell it like it is if I don't like something, so I only expect the same back from people, Thanks again!!!:)
April 7, 200917 yr I call this the "Martin Clause" (yes, like the Santa Clause movies) Dan sits down at coldplay concert. DAN: Is this your first concert GWYNETH: No, it isn't DAN: I just met them at the artist entrance. All of them seemed nice. Which one is your favourite? GWYNETH: Chris DAN: Have you ever met him? GWYNETH: Oh yeah DAN: He and his wife seem like the only trustable celebrities. I don't consider Guy, Will and Jonny celebrities, though. GWYNETH: Why don't you consider my husbands co workers famous? DAN: WAIT! YOU'RE GWYNETH PALTROW! GWYNETH: Uh. Yeah. DAN: Oh. Uh, sorry. CONCERT CONTINUES CHRIS: Just because I'm loosing *THUD!* *FALLS OFF STAGE* *PASSES OUT* DAN: Uh oh, What happened to Chris!?! Oh well. HEY! I SHOULD WEAR HIS JACKET! Guy, you designed it, is there any thing I should worry about? GUY: WAIT! THAT JACKET HAS MAGICAL POWERS! DAN: Too late. *PUTS ON JACKET* Whoah! This is weird! *GROWS TO 6' 1.5"* *GROWS CHRIS-FRO* Whoah! I have a British accent! THis is strange. What happened Guy? GUY: I told you. That jacket is magical DAN: Oh well. Let's finish this concert. THE NEXT DAY IN THE HOSPITAL DAN: Guy, I'm still Chris. GUY: Well, it works like whoever puts on the jacket is him until he is conscient. DAN: Oh. I see. Has it ever happened to Will or Jonny? GUY: Yeah. Okay, now we have to visit Chris CHRIS: Uhhhh. Oh. Hi Guy. Hi Will. Hi Jonny. Hi Me. WAIT!, I'm talking to me. DAN: AHHH! I'm shrinking. I am some fan again! Oh well. GUY: He decided to wear your jacket and that thing happened. CHRIS: Where do you get your fabric, Guy?
April 7, 200917 yr My friend and I came up with it in school one day. I turned that friend on to coldplay, even though he is a big Satriani fan. I don't want to get into that fiasco though.
April 7, 200917 yr thanks thanks thanks, everyone!! psycho is one of my favorite movies lauren!! and yes, the 1960 version, SO much better. :D
April 7, 200917 yr Sorry y'all, I've been slacking on my fanfic-reading, so I had to back up like 15 pages and started with the beginning of "See You Soon" and read the first 6 chapters. Emotional in a very cute way! I'll certainly read the next chapters later! ;) "Speed of Sound" was just as amusing as the kitty story! I love how the band members seem like lazy 7th graders on a couch. :laugh3: And Guy! :stunned: Smiled throughout the Disney story, especially since seeing the band portrayed as dorks amuses me, although I honestly got a tad lost in the giant paragraphs. I'll read the last 5 pages soon, I promise! :)
April 7, 200917 yr Feel Free :) okay!! i'm gonna make a fanfic thread in the lounge!! :D and thanks, corkus! :nice:!
April 7, 200917 yr OKAY, folks! Announcement! I don't know if any of you remember what I was writing about (I hope you don't) because it's changed. The other story just wasn't working out for now. So, I've started another one. It's about what would happen if the band first met in secondary school (high school for us American folks). It's got some drama, some comedy, and a lot more Guy and Jonny than in Healing. Okay, the first chapter's really short. They get longer, I promise. :P Schoolboys Chris's POV I threw my things down on the damp grass, kicking them to the side. It was a beautiful day, and I had no intention to take the time to study. But a minute later, I figured that I probably should. I decided to catch up on my reading for Literature class, and I grudgingly pulled The Great Gatsby out of my knapsack. I wasn’t such a huge fan of American classics... I sighed and sank down on the grass, shielding my eyes against the abnormally bright sunlight. “Hey!” someone called. I glanced up, startled, only to have something large and painful fly into my head. With a small yelp, I bent forward, holding the back of my skull protectively. The pain was starting to set in. “Jesus!” I hissed, thoroughly annoyed. I noticed a football sitting a few feet away, and I mentally cursed whomever had kicked it at my head. “Oh, wow, I’m sorry...I didn’t think it would fly this far!” said a new, distinctly Scottish voice. I glared up at the intruder, but I softened as I looked him over. He was rather small, with messy dark hair. He seemed nervous, but he kept his chin up defensively. He looked a year or two younger than I was, and I nearly laughed as I realized he was probably a little scared of me. But then again, who could possibly be scared of me? My self-confidence dipping, I unconsciously covered a blemish on my chin. “It’s okay, I guess. I’m fine.” I assured. He was already forgiven, anyway. The messy-haired boy picked something off the ground and handed it to me apologetically. It was my copy of Gatsby. “It got a little wet...” he muttered. “It’s okay; it’s too damn boring anyway.” I laughed, taking it from his hands. Striking up a little more courage than usual, I decided to introduce myself. “I’m Chris, by the way.” “Guy.” he responded, jokingly holding out his hand. I smiled and shook it, glad to make a new friend. God knows I needed some. ------------------- :uhoh2: Did I do okay? Please, United Kingdom folks, let me know if I screw anything up.
April 8, 200917 yr YAY! *releases breath* I'm so relieved! Edit: I forgot to say how old they are...! Chris is 16...so I'm too lazy to do the math. But I guess Guy would be 14...?

April 8, 200917 yr I was just thinking today, why should this thread be limited to FanFics about Coldplay? I'm sure it would attract even more people if you could post FanFics about anything! I don't know, let me know what you think :) Different thread for it methinks and there isn't any way I'd be making a list for it. It's hard enough with one thread and not many people would read them anyway.
