All it took was... a lawsuit.

Shit! I don't want Chris sounding professional! :bigcry:

:P

But seriously, he did a good job. Especially since the interviewer really pushed the issue... I was waiting for Chris to blow up but he stayed really cool- he even turned the question back on the guy!

Yeah, he really did just keep going on about it didn't he?

Yeah, it was kinda weird! He just kept saying the same thing too... (not Chris, the interviewer) I kept muttering "you're pushing it, man" :P

I mean, it's a sensitive legal issue, there's only so much Chris could say! Maybe he was hoping that he could get Chris to slip up or something? I don't know...

Oh well, I guess he was the first interviewer to get a member of the band since this whole thing came out, so what do you expect?

Chris Martin has told NME Radio he is planning to watch Blur's reunion gig at London's Hyde Park next July.

Speaking to NME Radio's Neil Cole yesterday (December 10), Martin reminisced about the first time he saw Blur live, when the band supported REM in 1995. He said: "I saw them play before REM in 1995 and it was incredible. It was so incredible, in fact, that there was steam coming from the moshpit and I'd never seen that before. And I thought: 'God, not only do they play great music but they let people barbecue!'"

Martin said he was "sure" to attend Blur's Hyde Park gig, which takes place on July 3 next year. Despite his enthusiasm for Blur, Martin refused to choose between them and their Britpop rivals Oasis. He cautiously explained: "In the whole Blur versus Oasis battle I was very much...in the middle."
