Ms Magpie
Yeah ... it's much cheaper then. Well I'll try to find a solution. Paying 10€ for going by car is far more reasonable (and comfortable) than going with bus (it doesn't even go through my city even though it'd shorten up the whole trip)
lndnsky
It would cost you 10€ by car??? Well you're really close to Udine! This site where I bought ticket offered option in which you can buy only tickets and the price is between 50€ and 70€! Depends on place you have. Ms Magpie
Yeah ... well it works like this: When I go to uni, I usually pay 3-4€ per ride. Udine is 70-80km away from my hometown (it's a bit closer than the capital), so 10€ is a reasonable price for going there and back again. :)
lndnsky
And the bus goes only from capital? Well its definitely more reasonable to get there by car. I just hope you wont have problem with Friuli. But I dont that Udine is big city, so probably everyone know where the stadium is.
Ms Magpie
It goes from Maribor, then Celje, Ljubljana and Fernetiči (why the hell going almost to the seaside JUST to go back North?). And thankfully, they should talk Slovene there, I don't think there'll be too big problems with communication! :laugh3: My Italian is a bit too rusty. :uhoh:
lndnsky
Well if they speak a bit of Slovene and you a bit of Italian it wont be problem. Plus there will be a lot of Coldplay fans and they all speak (or at least) understand English so you'll manage to find the way to stadium.

coldpatrix
Gradinata is the zone with the seats, Prato is the grass, very close to the stage!
Ms Magpie
Which is better if you want to get very close to the stage? Prato, right?
Denise
Yes but you need to be ready to get in the queue early
coldpatrix
Very early: Denise, other friends and me went outside the gates of Bologna and Milano venues for the gigs of September 2008 and made a queue from 8.30 am but there were some other fans before us! Ms Magpie
So early? I saw Radiohead in Milano, arrived to the arena one hour before it all began and ended pretty close to the stage. Not sure about my friend, but queuing could be lots of fun! :D
