Auch nach der Absage von Top-Model Nadja Auermann kann sich die Gästeliste von Thomas Gottschalk für seine nächste »Wetten, dass . . .?«-Show (24. Januar, 20.15 Uhr, live aus der Offenburger Baden-Arena) sehen lassen: Hollywoodstar Tom Cruise wird zusammen mit dem deutschen Schauspieler Christian Berkel den gemeinsamen neuen Film-Hit »Operation Walküre« (deutscher Kinostart am 22. Januar) vorstellen. In der viel diskutierten Verfilmung der Ereignisse des 20. Juli 1944 spielt Tom Cruise den Hitler-Attentäter Claus Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg. Berkel spielt die Rolle des Mertz von Quirnheim. Trotz gemischter Film-Kritiken und trotz der umstrittenen Scientology-Aktivitäten von Tom Cruise spielte »Operation Walküre« in den USA in nur vier Tagen 30 Millionen Dollar ein. Auf der Couch neben Moderator Thomas Gottschalk wird in Offenburg außerdem das deutsche Fotomodell Toni Garrn Platz nehmen. Die 17-Jährige aus Hamburg ist das Gesicht der neuen Kampagne des US-Designers Calvin Klein. Auch ARD-Moderator Jörg Pilawa und Comedian Michael Mittermeier werden als Wettpaten zu Gast sein. Im Showteil (siehe »Hintergrund«) treten Peter Maffay, Seal und die britische Band Coldplay mit Frontman Chris Martin auf. Außerdem präsentiert das Ensemble des Bully-Herbig-Musicals »Der Schuh des Manitu« einen Ausschnitt aus seinem Programm. Kein roter Teppich Cruise, Seal, Coldplay – eigentlich Gründe genug, sich auf »Wetten, dass . . .?« aus Offenburg zu freuen. Eigentlich. Denn anders als bei der volksnahen Bambi-Verleihung im vergangenen November werden die Top-Stars im Vorfeld der TV-Show diesmal über keinen roten Teppich laufen, kein Rathaus besuchen und nirgendwo wartenden Fans zuwinken. Ganz im Gegenteil: Das ZDF wird – im Gegensatz zu Burda bei der Bambi-Verleihung – alles dafür tun, dass die Stars nirgendwo von ihren Fans »belästigt« werden. Peter Gruhne, Sprecher des Mainzer Fernsehsenders, bestätigt auf Anfrage der Mittelbadischen Presse die Chancenlosigkeit von Foto- und Autogrammjägern: »Da wird es keine Möglichkeit dazu geben. Selbst wenn man stundenlang vor der Halle wartet, wird man höchstens eine abgedunkelte Limousine zu Gesicht bekommen.« Gruhne will auch nicht verraten, ob die Stars mit einem Charter-Flieger auf dem Baden-Airport in Söllingen oder auf den Flugplatz Lahr landen werden. Lahr liegt nach Aussage von Sprecherin Elke Günther keine Anmeldung vor, auch in Söllingen sind keine Anfragen bekannt. Klar ist deshalb nur, dass die Wettpaten Tom Cruise, Christian Berkel, Toni Garrn und Jörg Pilawa erst am Samstag, 24. Januar, nach Offenburg reisen werden. »Sie haben im Gegensatz zu den Show-Acts keine Proben.« Aber in welchen Hotels die in Offenburg am Freitag, 23. Januar, und am Samstag, 24. Januar, probenden Seal, Coldplay oder Peter Maffay absteigen werden – auch das unterliegt der Geheimstufe eins. Kein Geheimnis dagegen ist, dass das ZDF-Team seit gestern in der Baden-Arena und der Ortenauhalle (diese wird als Garderobe und Produktionsraum genutzt) mit den Aufbauarbeiten beschäftigt ist und dass Moderator Thomas Gottschalk am Donnerstag nächster Woche in Offenburg eintreffen wird. Am 23. Januar wird er dann eine Pressekonferenz geben und abends mit dem ZDF-Team eine Generalprobe ohne Publikum und ohne Star-Gäste absolvieren. Am Show-Tag selbst werden rund 350 ZDF-Mitarbeiter vor, auf und hinter der Bühne tätig sein. 2000 Besucher werden bei der Live-Show in Offenburg mit dabei sein. Sie sind die glücklichen Gewinner der Karten-Auslosung. Über 20 000 Menschen wollten die Weltstars in der Baden-Arena in Offenburg miterleben. Eine Chance, live dabei zu sein, gibt es aber auch jetzt noch. »Wenn tatsächlich der seltene Fall eintritt, dass Karten an der Abendkasse nicht abgeholt werden, dann kann man auch kurz vor der Sendung noch Karten ergattern«, so Peter Gruhne. Mit Glück können alle Leser der Mittelbadischen Presse aber auch noch zwei VIP-Karten für »Wetten, dass . . .?« gewinnen – sie müssen nur bis Freitag für »Leser helfen« spenden (siehe auch Aktions-Kasten links auf dieser Seite). Fahrplan bis zur Show Gestern trafen die ersten »Wetten, dass...?«-Mitarbeiter in Offenburg ein, um die komplette Bühnentechnik für die Show am 24. Januar aus der Baden-Arena zu entladen. Unser Fahrplan zeigt, was bis zum Beginn der Show noch gearbeitet werden muss. Ab heute: Telefon- und Faxanschlüsse werden gelegt, und der Aufbau der Bühne beginnt. Der Mittelteil mit Sofa, der Bühnenhintergrund und eine Extrabühne für die Show-Einlagen werden eingerichtet. Für jede Wette gibt es ein eigenes, fahrbares Bühnenbild. Auch die Künstler bekommen eine individuelle, auf den Song abgestimmte Kulisse. Samstag, 17. Januar: Die Lichttechniker reisen an. Die Lichtanlage wird ausgeladen und mit dem Aufbau begonnen. Mittwoch, 21. Januar: Der Bühnenaufbau geht weiter, die Kameras werden in Position gebracht. Die erste Vorbesprechung über den exakten Sendeablauf findet statt. Januar: Die meisten Wettkandidaten sind inzwischen angereist. Nach einer weiteren Regiebesprechung beginnen die Hauptproben für die Wetten. Jede Wette wird mit den Kandidaten durchgesprochen, das Licht, die Kamerapositionen werden festgelegt. Ein erster Durchlauf startet. Freitag, 23. Januar: Am Abend findet die Generalprobe statt – mit den Wettkandidaten und den gedoubelten Künstlern. Im Gespräch mit dem Unterhaltungschef, den Autoren, Redakteurin Beate Weber und dem Regisseur feilt Thomas Gottschalk an den Feinheiten. Kurz vor 23 Uhr ist für alle Beteiligten Feierabend. Samstag, 24. Januar: Nach einem letzten Kurz-Durchlauf tritt ein Künstler nach dem anderen zur Standprobe an. Selbst Weltstars bleibt diese Prozedur nicht erspart. Während das Playback aus den Lautsprecherboxen tönt, werden Kamerafahrten und -einstellungen durchgespielt. Um 18 Uhr sitzen die meisten Stars bereits in der Maske. Problem is the area is really huge there... 3 halls. And I know that there is a driveway for the cars that leads into an underground car park... :confused: But then I also know other places to go... :P God, but those persons who want to protect the stars from being molested from their fans... :dozey: :rolleyes: It's normal to give autographs at such an event... duh :inquisitive: And I surely don't want to go for stalking to a hotel, that's not my thing. For more info, click here. Anchorman What I really don't get is why they still play VLV?? :shocked2: As much as I love this song (I even ADORE it!!), there's no way it can boost any single sales aso. They should play LITii instead to promote this song. There are lots of viewers of this programme so this would be an excellent way to make them like CP (if they don't already) ;) Also great that the band will perform so early which means I don't need to sit in front of the telly until the very end to see them perform ... I don't like 'Wetten dass, ...?!' that much so it would have been quite a torture to sit there through the whole show. :wink3:

I have watched Wetten Dass from the beginning of my life...it`s a family show...The viewers are from 10 to 60 years old....it`s the biggest show in europe...guests like: Micheal Jackson, Will Smith, Angelina, Pitt, Jamie Oliver, Madonna, Pink, Avril, Tom Hanks, Uma T., 50 Cent, Beckham and so on appeared on the show...and soon Coldplay... the showmaster is a little bit strange and there are many german stars sitting on the sofa...I think that coldplay will feel a little bit shy on the sofa because they understand nothing...some other stars were not shy in the past but i think the coldplay guys are the type who could feel shy...The showmaster always asks weird questions to international guests...but i like the show it´s always funny to see how the international guests react ;) ´ PS: sorry for my bad language skills...i hope you understand everything...

January 21, 200917 yr @ mr.rogo Coldplay have been on TV Total last year as well and Chris and Jonny came to talk to Stefan Raab after their performence of Violet Hill and at least Chris wasn't shy and I think Jonny wasn't too shy. ;) They did some jokes and were nice, though Stefan Raab isn't such a good host - in my opinion. And I think they'll understand at least half of the conversations, because there are dolmetchers and Thomas Gottschalk speaks English and Chris learnt German, even if he says his German is bad. I don't think they'll have anything to do with the 'city bet', isn't it just a bet between the city and Thomas Gottschlak?
