February 6, 200917 yr Well they're definitely better than rolling stone in that respect... but going by my humble opinion of all the pitchfork reviews that I've seen, they tend to seriously overcompensate into indie-snobbery, are unfairly opposed to popular bands and justify giving them poor reviews with irritatingly picky, subjective or unfair reasons.
