On commence par le début avec l'arrivée a Arras en compagnie de Guillaume qui a "sauter" dans mon TGV a l'Aeroport CDG , de la le temps est passé a une vitesse PHENOMENALE pendant 1H Nous sommes arriver au alentours de 11h50 en Gare D'Arras où il y avait peu de monde nous avons pris la navette pour le camping et c'est la que nous avons rencontrés pas mal de FAN de Coldplay ^^ enfin car dans mon lycée , Coldplay n'est pas très apprécié (Ils n'ont pas de goût). Nous retournons sur la gare routière et nous nous mettons en route pour La Grand' place . Nous avons rejoins la file d'attente (1H30 d'attente a partir de ce moment là) Ouverture de la Place ! Tout le monde se pietinnent au début mais plusieurs barrage ont eu raison des "sprinteurs" en effet (la plupart du groupe que nous etions avaient a ma grande tristesse un pass 4 jours alors que moi j'avais un pass 1 Jour!) J'ai pu passé directement sur la place alors que d'autres ont du re-faire la queue. Enfin nous nous sommes installer au tout devant la scene (ce qui nous vaudras de passer au moins 4 fois a la TV sur Virgin 17 pendant In My Place) ^^ apres 2H d'attente peu supportable en raison de la chaleur (oui dans le nord il fait plus de 35°) ^^ M.Ward entre en scène , 50 min qui etait longue car le style de musique ne me correspond pas trop^^ Ensuite vien le tour d'Amy MacDonald qui a commencée a mettre le feu a la place ! Les titres s'enchaine avec Mr Rock And Roll et This is the life ! Puis après la Set List d'Amy viens The Ting Tings ! ENORME le soleil commence a redescendre mais la chaleur monte ^^ Disco My Name , We Walk , etc... les titres s'enchainent et ont voit que Katie Et Jules mettes leurs tallent en évidence! Puis la plus longue attente commence (je connais Miller maintenant ^^) a 21h50 le Groupe entre en scene apres 3 titres (Magnificent , U2 Jay-Z puis André Rieu ^^ Enfin sur Life In Technicolor le groupe rentre en scène comme a Lyon! A partir de ce moment la le temps passe trop vite ! Violet Hill , In My Place , Lost , les titres défilent et je sens que Guy reste réservé pendant se concert ! Pendant le retour du groupe apres le C-Stage , je reussi a touché la Main de Johnny et Will!! Hommage a Michaël Jackson avec Billie Jeans Sur la Fin du concert je me rend compte que Ni Glass Of Water et Cemeteries of London ne sont jouées , se serra le seul bémol de la soirée! We start from the beginning with the arrival in Arras in the company of Guillaume who "jump" in my TGV CDG airport, the time is spent at a phenomenal rate during 1H We arrive at around 11:50 in the railway station where there were few people we took the shuttle to the campsite and that is that we have encountered quite a fan of Coldplay ^ ^ finally, because in my high school, Coldplay is not popular (They have no taste). We return on the bus and we will head to the Grand 'Place. We join the queue (1H30 waiting from the time) Opening of the Place! Everyone is pietinnent early barrage but many were right of the "sprinters" in effect (most of the group that we were had to my great sorrow a pass 4 days while I had a 1 day pass!) have spent directly on the spot while others have re-do the tail. Finally we install the very front of the scene (which we will be worth to spend at least 4 times a television on for 17 Virgin In My Place) ^ ^ 2H after waiting just bearable because of the heat (yes in the north it is more than 35 °) ^ ^ Mr. Ward comes into play, which was 50 minutes long because the style of music do not me too ^ ^ Then come the turn of Amy MacDonald who has begun to set fire to the place! Titles s'enchaine with Mr Rock And Roll and This is the life! Then after the Set List Amy come The Ting Tings! ENORME the sun began to come down but the heat goes up ^ ^ My Name Disco, We Walk, etc ... Titles s'enchainent and see that Katie and Jules mettes highlight their tallent! Then the long wait begins (Miller now I know ^ ^) at 21:50 between the Group in scene after 3 titles (Magnificent, U2 and Jay-Z Andre Rieu ^ ^ Finally on Life In Technicolor group returned to the scene as a Lyon! From that moment the time is passing too fast! Violet Hill, In My Place, Lost, titles parade and I feel that Guy is still reserved for concert! During the return of the group after the C-Stage, I managed to hit Main Johnny and Will! Tribute to Michael Jackson with Billie Jeans At the end of the concert I realized that Ni Glass Of Water and Cemeteries of London are played, tightened the only flat of the evening! *Perrine* Posted July 15, 2009 Share Posted July 15, 2009 PERRINE'S REVIEW ! :P First thought after waking up: No way I’m seeing Coldplay today ! :stunned: Anna, my sister and I arrive in Arras at 11am, totally pumped after listening to Coldplay during 4 hours. We see the girls – Chavi, Carla, Mounira, Cha, Camille, Marsu- inevitably the firsts in the queue, but too many people behind them for still hoping the front row… I see this little gap between the barriers, look at Anna… okay let’s try ! We sneak inside, we sit down –what a great feeling !- THANK YOU so much to all the Coldplayers who were there since 7 am ! :hug: The wait is terrible, it’s so hot, without any shadow. But being with all these nice Coldplayers make it bearable :nice: We start singing, and people around us already moan … Well they aren’t done with us :P Then they open the barriers, and we run like crazy! After the checking of the tickets, we run as fast as possible through the whole place, and we finally get front row! A long wait begins, it was hot like hell, and many people fainted! Mounira almost did, but when the guard asked her if she wanted to be evacuated, she refused… Mounira, just think of what you’d have missed! The place is really gorgeous and perfect for a concert ! There is this big screen on the left side, with always the same advertisings again and again… The best one : for Virgin Radio, with LiTii as background, haha each time we went crazy and sang :D And OMG… this one for the ice cream, while we were just dieing of heat and thirst BOOOOO ! :P At 5pm, M Ward came on stage, it was quite cool! They started setting the mood. Then Amy McDonald came, with her cute but hard to understand Scottish accent :P She really has a beautiful and strong voice ! Now, the Ting Tings! They’re awesome on stage ! Katie has such a boundless energy! She read us a little speech in French which was pretty funny “On va vous faire danser comme des oufs !” :lol: The crowd went crazy after hearing the first tunes of “Shut up and let me go”! Their show was really amazing! Actually Camille was super excited… but busy with someone else XD “MILLEEEER MARRY ME !” We saw all the boys backstage, listening to the Ting Tings ! Actually the cutest thing : when Katie asked the crowd to raise their arms, Chris did the same backstage DAWWW ! Then : who does walk just in front of us ? PHIL ! We all screamed his name, and people around us probably thought we were insane, but they still cheered him :P Gaah this smile and those pink cheeks ! We saw Kelly and Jackie too, we cheered them as well, and she looked at us like we were shit ^^ We’re getting more and more excited as people install the instruments, and a nice roadie *Brooooook* notice us… well… especially Mounira :P We see Miller taking a pic of the crowd, pretty sure he’s gonna tweet it… we guessed right ! Suddendly, Magnificent is played, we already knew the boys were coming ! Then Jay-Z… and The Blue Danube ! We dance and swing our arms… Finally… the first tunes of LiT ring out, I see the sparklers, I see them… I cry ! Really I couldn’t do any movement, I was just staring at them, not trusting my eyes… first time seeing them is so special ! Everything was so perfect, Chris was running everywhere, dancing, and his voice was really awesome this day. Guy seemed a bit sad and didn’t smile that much, our Jonnyboy was in great shape, but I almost didn’t see Will, hidden because of Chris’ piano :\ As soon as LiT started playing, we all went totally crazy! This little speech in french was so lovely ! "Je suis désolé parce que mon français est... *we shout EST MERDE*... est incroyable ! (I'm sorry because my french is... unbelievable ! Thanks Chris :dozey:) C'est une plaisanterie... et DONC (...) et aussi, merci beaucoup de nous offert (:wacky:) votre jeudi soir !" IRRESISTIBLE !! As soon as we heard the violin of Viva la Vida, we stopped controlling ourselves (I don’t even know if we did before :P) and sang at the top of our lungs, above all the “O-o-o-o-oh Oh* that everyone around us couldn’t bear anymore because of us :D I love when Chris changes the lyrics: “Now the old kind est mort, long live the king” ! And Will cracks me up during this song, hitting the bass drum like crazy : head up/arm down…. But I’ll ALWAYS remember my first Coldplay show, this rush of adrenaline which lasts 1h40, this strange feeling which makes you forget everything else, which makes you scream like you’ve never thought you could, which blows your mind miles away, which makes you feel SO good… yes that’s just unforgettable… Definitely, I love them even more than before… Yes, it’s possible :heart: And again: I wanna thank all the nice Coldplayers who were there, was such a great time with you all, can’t wait to see you again in Paris! :dance: THANK YOU MY DEARS !
