January 31, 200917 yr Author I LOVE Target. I probably go there more than any other store. Sure, the prices are a little higher than Wal-Mart, but you've got a better selection of stuff. I get a lot of my clothes there. Target even has a distinctive smell... And I always seem to bump into somebody I know there. Yeah, Target has better quality than Wal-Mart, imo. And I love their clothes! They are reasonably priced and really cute! I love the GO International lines they always have. :D And I know how the 'bumping into people I know' thing feels. I always feel awkward, but I get over it because everyone loves it there. :P haha, so you work there? Haha yeah I work there. I thought that I'd start hating the place because I work there. But they haven't scheduled me to work a lot lately so it's not so bad. I like going to Target and slurping on an ICEE while I shop:D *feels extremely girly for saying that* Haha nooo way embrace the ICEE fangirlism! :D

January 31, 200917 yr That stinks. Target should go more global like Wal-Mart did. Yup. They should target global domination.:P
January 31, 200917 yr I had never heard of Target before Annie told me that she works there haha. I think i'd like it there though
January 31, 200917 yr We should all take pictures of ourselves inside our local Targets. It could be a collage of Target love, and then maybe the marketing department at Target headquarters would see it and use it in their ads... and we'd each make a million dollars. Just a thought.
January 31, 200917 yr It's funny how much love target get's when it's essentially a cleaner, slightly smaller, red wal-mart.
January 31, 200917 yr I love target!!! And I'd love it even more if only my ex bf jerk didn't work there :P But it really is a great store!!:D

That's a cute idea! We should do that, it sounds like fun! So is Target like Tesco & Walmart-Asda? I've always heard of those stores, but never knew really what they were. Target:  LMAO That girl looks like she's thinking "Bitch, get me out of this damn cart!" :laugh3:

January 31, 200917 yr I've always heard of those stores, but never knew really what they were. Tesco is this massive supermarket chain in the UK, the same as Asda (which is owned by Walmart). So if you think of Walmart, I think that is what Tesco & Asda are like.
February 1, 200917 yr OMGZ, TARGET THREAD :wideeyed: i have an inordinate amount of love for target, it's a bit unhealthy. going in there just makes me happy, for some reason. even when i only need to get one thing, i just end up spending at least 45 minutes in there just looking at awesome stuff. i actually just got back from target . i got mostly boring stuff, like laundry detergent and water, but i also got leggings (finally brown in my size!) and a string of really pretty flower-shaped christmas lights to go over my dorm bed :wacky:. i love how you can get pretty much ANYTHING at target. though today i was eyeing an ipod touch REALLY closely, but i don't have $400 to spare, nor do i need one :disappointed: @dave: i have no idea about asda and tescos and their similarity to target, since i've never been in them as of yet, but from what i can tell from internet searches, those two stores are much more food based, whereas in most targets here, the food section is arguably the smallest section in the store. correct me if i'm wrong, though, and i'll definitely be gaugeing how much i like asda and tescos next year in comparison :P
February 1, 200917 yr Author I'm the same way! I have to make a LIST of all the things I need but it doesn't matter because I walk out of the store with more than I thought I would have.
February 1, 200917 yr We don't have it here :( wow you haven't lived until you've been to target!! :dozey: :P
February 1, 200917 yr i think probably about 90% of the stuff i've bought in the past 5 years has come from target :uhoh:. i buy like EVERYTHING there.
February 8, 200917 yr Author Oh same. I just bought two boxes of tea, black tights, lip moisturizer, and I bad of candy yesterday. :P
February 8, 200917 yr i bought running shoes there the other day. good running shoes for $25--can't beat that! anything name brand would have been upwards of $70. i love that target bought champion :nice:
February 8, 200917 yr Author I will have to get my running shoes there for gym class. Running in chucks was manageable for three years, but now I think I'd be more motivated if I had proper shoes. :P
