May 25, 201115 yr am i the only person who likes those lyrics? i don't think it's that cheesy :thinking: :shrug: but oh man...looks like stuff is rampin' up!!! I'm starting to get excited!!! I like the lyrics too. I like them a lot. They seem to curve away from the more generic Coldplay lyrics

May 25, 201115 yr with the artwork and the video and the colour, it seems like they might go into the party/techno music genre! :/ i hope not, i want some lovely anthems about love and what not! im trusting that they know what they're doing but it seems like Guy's band is rubbing off on Coldplay. idk Coldplayers, im nervous I has been thinking the same. But I don't think that Coldplay all suddenly will turn in to a techno/pop band. I would hate that.

May 25, 201115 yr I really don't know how you can criticise those lyrics when the likes of 'You cut me down a tree and brought it back to me and that's what made me see where I was going wrong' exist. Those lyrics seem far more classy than most of the lyrics from the past two albums. VLVODAAHF was not a bad album lyrically (unlike X&Y) but it didn't come close to the lyrics on AROBTTH. Those brief few lyrics has given me hope that this will be their best since AROBTTH.
