Im from the UK Can I watch The grammys Live?

Featured Replies

Yeah, don't they announce all the other winners in a "pre-cast" or something?

(I believe they include the winners of Best Polka Album and Best Sleeve-notes)

Maybe Mrs Martin's award too. :P

Although they may leave that in the actual awards if she's won it.

She's up for something???

Germany's ProSieben shows the Grammys live and starts at 2 am here (which means 1 am UK time and 7 pm LA time - I think ). So we have the red carpet and the show I guess. At least this is what my TV guide says. I won't watch it because tomorrow is school but I made somebody record it for me. :D *shakes hands with Clocks In My Place*

She is also being sued by Joe Satriani, he believes the title of her audio book is racist.

"And it is rare for the multiple-Grammy nominated band to open up for the media, but front man Chris Martin bends the rules when he gives correspondent Steve Kroft a candid interview and lets 60 Minutes cameras into their private studio. The result is a unique look inside one of the world’s most popular musical acts that will be broadcast this Sunday, Feb. 8, at 7 p.m. ET/PT. "

The grammy's start right after 60 minutes, sooo that should mean it really starts at 8 pm ET

Pfft Im done with this now:p

Wow she is nominated? Cool :D

Yeah, I think we've established it's on at 8 ET, just means they're actually being held at 5 in LA and being broadcast later ;)

Haha :p

Found this too: The Feb. 9, 2009, awards will once again be broadcast live on CBS, airing on a tape delay for West Coast viewers.

Does it mean that the airing on CBS will start 3 hours later? Bah.. Stupid

In the US since we have multiple time zones, this is a common practice. It will be "live" on the East coast and central time zones. And since they want it in "prime time" viewing, it will be on tape delay for West coast. So if you are watching, use the East coast time (ET) of 8pm to base your viewing.
