Perhaps if they had enough else to occupy their time, and got a lot of attention for their schoolwork & good deeds.. maybe telling the parents that their kids will be taken away if they don't do something.. ? Change the dynamics of the situation somehow, or we'll all be overrun!

And now there's reports of the girl's parents letting several other boys sleep over at her house. The only guy's house that I've slept over at I've known since I was 10 (strictly friends only, mind) and I'd never EVER be allowed to have guys over at my house, I haven't been allowed since I was 12 at the least. :stunned:

Obviously the whole problem starts when there's a sleeping bag shortage. there's one thing missing in this conversation. a little thing called a LAW, and therefore the fact that its all illegal. posting him on the front page of The Sun for being a young dad, and talking about the publicity money will only encourage people. Posting them both on the front page with some sort of criminal record would be better. I'm not saying its a solution, but surely is a step in the right direction. What's the point in having this law if no-one does anything about it? You might not be able to prove that he has had underage sex, but there's little doubting that she did.

The police stated they aren't pressing charges as they feel it won't help with anything.

 

They fail to see not doing anything doesn't help anything, it makes the young ones thing they can get away with it.

 

I don't know what UK consent laws are but since both of them have more than a two year age gap here they'd be in trouble...

Well they are both underaged so if i remeber corectly they wouldnt get in trouble here but who knows :P

Well, it's still kind of wrong that they don't get in trouble because otherwise the elder could lead the younger into doing something the younger might be a bit naive about, not saying that this could have happened in this case, I mean it could.

I don't see how any 15 year old would consent to a 13 year old, he probably was what, 12 at the time of said conception? So I don't personally buy into the fact he's the father, probably was another of these alleged fathers and the girl said she was pregnant and said he was the father so as to not hurt his feelings (I mean the boy thinks she's never had another relationship apart from him, the poor thing)

I know its just crazy and also in the vid when they were talking about what he was gonna do for money the lady asked him,"so what ru gonna do financially"..and then the boy said,"What does that mean," the girl just laughed!...I mean cmon how the hell ru gonna have sex with a kid that doesnt know what the means!! Poor thing doesn't know what he's getting into. I'm not blaming the girl's side of the family at all here but he expected to be able to raise a baby on 10 pounds a week... :hug:. It's sad this is becoming such a sold story as well. And how is the baby going to be raised? She's been born into a media frenzy, I mean sure she won't forget it but if the boy is proved not to be the father and it's another guy I'm not sure he'd be willing to help with payments he'll have to make in the future for this. The focus here shouldn't be primarily on "OMG SUCH A SCANDAL" really, what about the welfare of the baby? But no. It's becoming a sold story. :sad:

The media should act a bit more responsibly in situations like this too. They should have refused to pay money to anyone for the stories and photos.
