Be optimistic. :) Yah, I probably should be! I'm hoping maybe there won't be so many geniuses going for the college of liberal arts, which is what I'm going for. why do u say that? Just coming from my school, there are so many smart people. Like, REALLY smart. And it's a we're a relatively big school, and UT is in our city, so a lot of people love it and want to go there and are applying, and taking my spot! :P And in Texas we have the top 10% rule (which just got changed but the change wont go into effect until next year :angry:) where any public (I'm not sure about private) university in Texas HAS to accept anyone who applies who is in the top 10% in their high school. Therefore the good, big universities like U.T. accept a lot less people who aren't in the top 10%, like me. It just makes my prospects a lot harder for getting in. WUT.

Im not sure what percent I'm in. I'm too lazy to figure it out. But I'm not in the top ten. December 13, 200916 yr Author I have a few, but....:\ I really don't care all that much for them. I don't understand how people choose! All colleges seem so similar to me! They all say they're great, and it's hard for me not to believe them, and so many campuses are great. UT is just that one place that I want to go. Like most people have their one place.
December 13, 200916 yr yes that is true. although to be honest i never really had my one place...but don't worry a lot of college are great! and it doesn't even really matter except the fact that your school is accredited and has what you want to study. and in the grand scheme of things what only matters is what you chose to do with what you studied. wow that was deep and insightful if i do say so myself.

December 13, 200916 yr A little stressed lately, especially since my U.T. application is due Tuesday, but I want to turn it in by tomorrow or Monday. It's the most important application for me. It's weird that I can't participate in your discussions about how stressful college apps are anymore :confused: well I guess now I can give you advice and say stuff like "hang in there! it's worth it!" or something :P
