localola86
^Go to Ticket Rush, sign up, then get the password for March. Remember that password on the day of the pre-sale on Live Nation. On the Live Nation page for the Nashville concert, you will insert that code/password on a box BEFORE it allows you to search for tickets. Proceed as usual to buy ticket. Hope this helps. EDIT: goes to see how much is airplane ticket from FLorida to Nashville :escaping:

busybeeburns
Coldplay Play Sommet Center June 6 If I'd included the real pictures of the real band members would you have known the difference? Guess where the Spin is going to be on June 6. Being that we want to make trade fair, more than likely we'll be at the Sommet Center. That's where England's not-so-newest-anymore hitmakers Coldplay will be performing on their--now extended--Viva La Vida tour. Despite my undying love for recent Cream punching bag U2, I am NOT a Coldplay fan--although it's nice to know that Radiohead could have been the biggest band in the world had they wanted to be. I'm not really a hater either. The feeling I get when "Clocks" or "Yellow" or "The Scientist" comes on the radio isn't much different than the feeling I get when I set foot into the Banana Republic at Green Hills mall: I get a little uncomfortable. A slight tingling of douchebumps, and then I realize it's not THAT bad. And in the same way that I'd happily capitalize on a Banana Republic gift certificate if I were to get one get for Chanukah, I'll happily capitalize on free tickets to see Coldplay--or as I call them, the poncy-pale superstar Bono-be (conscience + insufferability / lack of originality x falsetto = Bono factor) and three other faceless guys. Tickets go on sale here Sat. at 10am. They range in price from $49.50-$97.50. Be warned though: If Chris Martin brings Jack White onstage to play with the band on a cover of "Hotel Yorba" and introduces it as "the greatest song ever written," he's probably lying. I remember watching Coldplay trot out former Verve singer Richard Ashcroft for a performance of "Bittersweet Symphony" during the worldwide broadcast of 2005's Live 8 debacle, introducing the song as such. Two years later I saw them on "Austin City Limits," during which they brought out Michael Stipe for a performance of "Nightswimming." Guess how Martin introduced it. http://blogs.nashvillescene.com/nashvillecream/2009/03/coldplay_play_sommet_center_ju.php

dearprudence101
I've been offered two sets of tickets for the sommet center, and am not sure which one to choose. One is in Section107 row H The other is on the floor Section 6 row 6 Which one is better seats? Ive never been there. Thanks
white.shadows
Unless you're fairly tall (like 6 ft or over), I think you'd be better off in section 107. You'll have a side view, but since Coldplay's stage setup is "open" there will be no obstructions. Section 6, row 6 on the floor looks like it will be at least 25 rows back. Like I said, unless you're tall, you'll be looking at the backs of peoples' heads. I've never been to the Sommet Center, but I've been to a lot of arena shows and that's my best advice. localola86
Now that this thread has been bumped, I should apply to volunteer with Oxfam here. Since my summer class is from Mon to Thursday, a Saturday concert is my best bet.

carapebe
I have a quick question/request for those going to this show...would anyone be interested in getting me a bunch of the leftrightleftright albums that are being given away at the end of the show? a bunch of friends and myself really would like the album, and I've got some friends outside of the US that would really really like a copy. I know you can download it, but we all want hard copies. If anyone wants to help me out, it'd be greatly appreciated and I would pay for the shipping of the cds to me and if anyone can get me a box of cds I'll pay $50 plus the cost of shipping (like through paypal or ebay or something). my friends and I really really really want a cd, (as do a bunch of my friends' friends that live in other countries). I would be very very greatful. Let me know if you can help me out. Thanks guys! Have a great time at the show!!!
greeneyes1207
Everyone who goes to the shows can only be given 1 album per person, so people can't really get "a bunch" for you. There is a thread for people who happen to get more than 1 and are willing to send you one. And on ebay people are selling them, because they apparently don't understand this is free.
