So she brought it in and we went around the school trying to find him a home :laugh4:

Critics brand Twilight film 'a fizzer'

First reviews of the new Twilight film New Moon have indicated it's a serviceable but ultimately dull blockbuster, with some even labelling it downright bad.

The heavily anticipated second film in the franchise hit cinemas across the nation at midnight, with Australians among the first nations to get a look at the film thanks to our favourable time zone.

But even before the film premiered, some critics were complaining about a strict embargo preventing them from reviewing the film ahead of its release.

"[And] the reason is now clear — the second film is nowhere near as good as the original Twilight — in fact, it's a fizzer," wrote David Stratton, host of ABC's At The Movies.

"The pacing is sluggish, the film lacks both suspense and romance, and the climax … is pitifully weak."

Critic Tim Robey from Britain's Telegraph newspaper was also underwhelmed.

"What it misses is any animating pulse: we just wait and wait for the bleeding obvious," he said.

"The movie is best enjoyed for its dowdy sops to teen culture … but for anyone on the outside looking in, the insulation of the characters from real danger makes it a bit of a drag."

Errrrr... kinda, you can say New Moon is not that different... I guess

I think both movies were fairly true to their literary counterparts....New Moon moreso.
