Ive searched the forum, and i cant find anything about this subject. Im dying to know if they are going to make a viva la vida tour live dvd. Are there any rumors about it?

I've seen the Tour Diary far more times than the actual Live 2003 concert.

I do believe there was some info that Matt Whitcross was doing a doco about the tour. It was on the forum, but I can't remember what thread.

They should keep the classic title scheme.

Potentially, what they could do is film Wembley, and release it along with the tour doco, and have the compilation live CD coincide with it.

Chicago was filmed, as was Toronto in 2006. We still don't really know what is happening with that footage though

Nothing. Was shown on T.V. a couple times, and is posted to you-tube, but for some reason they scrapped the DVD idea.

but even though i would buy anything they put out, to really make it worth it for me they need to put up another tour diary...that thing was the best :wacky:

I think it's gonna happen eventually. I constantly see camera people on the stage in video clips of their concerts so I don't doubt it's gonna be all put together into something at some point. I recall Chris had also mentioned in an interview that he wanted to do almost a "movie-style" DVD of their tour but it was hard to lift because of all the time it would take editing and stuff.

 

I do hope a DVD of some sort is released because I really liked their Live 2003 DVD :)

Yeah, that's what I thought too. As I recall from the tiny snippet of info that I previously mentioned, it seemed like Matt had started filming from last year sometime. He would have alot of footage to pick from, which means it would be more likely a 90-120 mins affair.
