Nina, I REALLY want to read A Clockwork Orange. How is it so far? I heard from some people that it is hard to understand?

I love it, but there's some nasty violent stuff Alex (:awesome:) is talking about, which make me pretty uncomfortable. It's not so hard to understand, but then again I speak 1 Slavic language and understand 2 others, so it's not hard for me. There are a few words I still don't get (like platties) but I manage to understand the gist of it anyway. If you need translations, just say.

ahh ok. well now that i think of it, I think the person who told me it was hard to read was in high school or something lol, so hopefully with a college reading level, I should be able to understand it. i would hope so :P

It really isn't that hard! The vocabulary, apart from the Russian words, is quite simple. There aren't many complicated words but the syntax is a bit weird at times. :D
