April 25, 200917 yr in this thread, you guys can thank a band that has impacted your life with their music. you can share how they impacted you and list their song that it relates to. for example: thank you coldplay for helping me realize that my friends are people that will always be there for me and listen to any of my troubles. -green eyes
April 25, 200917 yr Thank you, Radiohead, for helping me learn that just because songs don't hit you as amazing on their first lesson doesn't mean they aren't good.
April 25, 200917 yr Thank you Coldplay for helping me realize that corporate monsters can impact your music and help you go downhill fast.
April 25, 200917 yr i thought briggs liked viva.. didnt you put it on your top 10 albums list of 2008?
April 25, 200917 yr Thank you, Josh Groban, for reminding me that classical styles of music is wonderful to listen to. :)
April 25, 200917 yr Yeah, it was a pretty average album for me. Nothing super spectacular, but not horrible either. (Viva that is)
April 25, 200917 yr Its unbearable to listen to from start to finish. And the lead off single being Clocks Part II.
April 25, 200917 yr I disagree with that, honestly. I like the synthy sound of it. And what do you mean by "Clocks 2"?
April 25, 200917 yr What's wrong with "X & Y"? it's waaaaaaayyy too long for the quality of the material. Just one complaint. Some of the songs are genius though.
April 25, 200917 yr Yeah some songs are good. But it just seems like they started writing songs for the masses and to sell records rather than writing the music they wanted.
April 25, 200917 yr Thank you Radiohead and Beck for the music that you have made, and incorporating various styles/genres of music, which has opened me up to new music and not toss off a song because of it's genre (Electronica/Dance [Radiohead] and Hip-Hop/Rap [beck]) Thank you The Beatles (band and solo) for everything, with out that band I would not be at all the person I am today. Never has there been a band as important to me.
April 25, 200917 yr Thank you, Radiohead, for helping me learn that just because songs don't hit you as amazing on their first lesson doesn't mean they aren't good. I agree
April 25, 200917 yr Thank you The Beatles (band and solo) for everything, with out that band I would not be at all the person I am today. Never has there been a band as important to me. I totally agree

April 25, 200917 yr Its unbearable to listen to from start to finish. And the lead off single being Clocks Part II. briggins good luck trying to convince people that Speed of Sound is nothing but Clocks II (i prefer to call its Clocks Remix). ive been trying for years to no avail. i need to think about my response to this thread. there are alot of bands who i love but i find it hard to pinpoint exactly the impact they've had on me
April 25, 200917 yr Thank you, Regina Spektor, for showing me the silly side of music and showing the world how much fun you can have with it.
