wow, first time huh? yes, they are fabulous...i've always loved the cure...i should find this pic i took when i was like 14 or something of me standing on my bed in front of one of my walls full of cure posters. it was like my wallpaper in my room hehe.

frankly you are a fucking moron. love will tear us apart was created by a band of the name joy division. the cure covered, what i mean by covered is that they performed it, and what my opening post suggested, it sucked.

New Order covered it, but it was more of paying homage to it. Everyone INDIE wanted Joy Division to win Best song of the last 25 years at Brits 25, but they didnt. So at the NME New Order basically sang the song exactly as Joy Division played it, they didnt try to put a spin on it so they didnt really do a COVER "VERSION" of it they just played it.

 

And it was ok.
