I usually wear size M but bought a size L (that one) at the concert.

It's just the right size for my shoulders.

So I'd say one size more than you usually wear but you could wait for more replies if anybody can confirm my experience...

EDIT: I've got the read Viva La Vida t-shirt for women in S. It's quite tight. I usually wear XS/S (e.g. H&M clothes).
