May 18, 200917 yr coño is cunt and güey has 2 meanings: one is like dude, but much more colloquial and the other one is stupid, but a bit vulgar
May 18, 200917 yr yes, but spanish speak faster, and pronounce the s different to us, and they say a lot "coño" while we all know to say is " güey" :uhoh: :P :embarassed: I love mexican accent We had a Mexican exchange student in college and I could understand him far better than Spanish people. I was quite surprised because I always assumed that we were taught "Spanish" Spanish. it's funny because you can notice where did the exchange students learn spanish, the ones who come from europe always have spanish accent and the ones who comes from the US have a different funny/cute accent

May 18, 200917 yr latin america is waaaay cheaper than spain, maybe if you try hard, you can find cheap flights I'm gonna check this out. I've always wanted to go to South America. I wanna teach modern foreign languages. I'm definitely gonna teach German and either Spanish or French. It's not entirely my decision though because it depends which university offers me a place. Not all universities do all languages... Either way I am planing to spend some time in a country where the language is spoken.
May 18, 200917 yr I've never been in english lessons :uhoh: just learned the basics at school and it was some kind of neutral english I think, but you can find places to learn british or american english here Wow your English is very good. I just assumed everyone had to do English in school. yes they teach american english, in fact at school my english teacher speaks horrible, just like typical spanglish  Fortunately I don't :smug: I guess this happens everywhere unless you're thought by native speakers or someone that lived in the country for a very long time. :\
May 18, 200917 yr Wow your English is very good. I just assumed everyone had to do English in school. thanks :p, listening to music in english really helps, also watching lots of US tv series during childhood  and coldplaying is a really great place to practice it well when I was younger I had english and french, but public schools are not really good teaching foreign languages. In high school we just had english lessons, but again, my school was a great one in every subject, except english  you can learn a "good quality" english only at private schools (and not even in all the private schools) I think
May 19, 200917 yr I'm gonna check this out. I don't recommend Spain for learning Spanish, it's easier in here because we don't speak as fast as they do my school teacher also speaks horrible  nooooo I love mexicans, I love the accent, the food, the football chants, el chavo del ocho  football chants? Argentina is better for that, aren't they? and why do all latin americans love el chavo del ocho?

May 19, 200917 yr ^^ EXACTLY. People, "English accents" are not just one accent as a whole. Know the difference- I have always loved the Geordies` accent best, though my familys` is from North London.
May 19, 200917 yr I love my Geordie accent Brummie on the other hand is one of the worst accents you'll ever hear
