First my apologies for being absent for such a long time :shame:

2nd Aurelie you are indeed the bestest Tudoracle EVA!!!!!!:dance: We, especially me, would be Tudorless info without you

now multi multi time.....

It's Tudors Christmas!!!!!

Here a little vid of 'behind the scenes of S4'!!!!!! JRM with grey hair is actually *w*

Can't waiiiiiiiiiiiit!!!

30-40 mil Euro!! holy cow!! Well the costumes alone probably take up 1/3 of the budget :wacky:

love how Charles means more to me than King Henry :P

But seriously, it's going to be so bittersweet this last season.... im probably going to cry like a baby if Charles or Henry dies  which we know will happen...

I'll be there with ya buckets of tears girl, buckets

It's fun you said that cause fans said the same thing to him and the guy told us he is writing a book  (not Tudor related)!

Here what he looks like:

nlah4o.jpg

And here the last piece of info he gave us:

Shakespearian... When he said 'spooky',I guess we'll have some ghost(s) hauting the king's mind....(that would explain the return of the noble beheaded we saw on pics...)

The shooting is ending next week, so after that it will be a loooong wait with no more crucial infos  I guess this topic will sink then into the depth of the forum...

I'll continue to check out for news, but don't expect anything major...

I hope that in december, those who live in the US will tell us what goodies are on the S3 DVD. And 'Blood creek' (the horror movie starring Henry C.) will be out ofr you guys in January too....

The extra looks familiar, swear I've seen him in other things, he is an excellent source of life on the set. More I need more!!

Maybe once all the Tudors are finished we could just turn this thread into a Henry Cavill thread and it would live on forever :sneaky:

:P

Uh I don't see a problem with that at all :wacky: and throw in JRM for good measure :P

The movie is very good and funny!!! The main character reminded me of Dr House :D As for Henry, pity is just got as much acting as a green plant :dozey: He just plays the 'pretty boy' but his part doesn't require much in term of acting. I hope that his future movies will be better for him! He will play Thésée in 'War of gods' (about greek mythology....I fear a 'prince of persia/300/Troy thing.... :uhoh: )

Here's a new pic of the man...(is it me or did he loose weight???) The hair...it burns my eyes..!! AWEFULL!!

29xjlat.jpg

I'm sorry but I like this pic of him, I think it makes him look a bit rumpled and sexxxy :sneaky:

OK and how st00pid am I?!

So I found out about Henry for the first time earlier this year. And wouldn't you know it..... he has been in the Count of Monte Cristo this whole fucking time :bomb: I didn't even know it...:dunce: That's pretty much one of my favorite movies and I own it, but i havent watched it in a while. So here I watch it last night and to my surprise a young Henry is Albert Mondego in the movie!!! :stunned: I have NO idea how I didnt realize that was him before... I always thought he was a hottie but I never bothered to look up the name of the actor. What a coincidence :dozey:

You're welcome Jenn, it's my job as a Tudoracle/hardcore fan :D

As for Brandon's end in S4, I red sthg in the Tudorwiki that might interested you... We all thought that Brandon would die either from age (like in real life) or on the battlefield (and then have great funerals like IRL)...But we haven't thought of a 3 option...THE TOWER  Since Brandon's character and Norfolk's one have been merged in S3, it's possible that Brandon will end in the Tower like Norfolk :\ Plus, remember what the extra said about Brandon...He will continue scheming (??) and some great character will fall....

I hope I'm wrong, believe me, I would prefer saw him killed by the french than in the Tower, but I think that's also a possibility....

Wait & see...!!

NO NO NO don't chop off my Henry's beautiful head :bigcry: I like to think of him dying in the heat of battle or of old age surrounded by family (or not if he keeps scheming).

oh and JRM was so very "cute" that movie was so very trippy, especially the "dream sequences" or the drug induced scenes

Hi everybody! My name is inês and i'm a Tudorolic! :D

Just noticed the Ewan McGregor and JRM photo, and I just started to laugh  and in my opinion Ewan is a bit better, it's an old photo isn't it? xD

No, the Duke of Norfolk was imprisonned but never beheaded. He was released under the reign of Mary ;)

So IF our Brandon is gonna live his fate, he will just be in prison...but who knows what Hirst will do with his character??!! He may emphasis the drama and get him chop-chop :bigcry:

But I really hope a 'in battlefield' death in glory (even if my country is cause of it  than the tower!). As for the 'old age' scenario, Henry C., even with this aweful look doesn't look 'old' enough to die from that...

Wait & see!! I'm starting to make a stock of tissue for the next season

Hi everybody! My name is inês and i'm a Tudorolic! :D

Welcome in Tudorland! Don't hesitate to comment, add your thought on the show, you're more than welcome since we have so much month of waiting ahead of us

How much seasons have you seen??? (don't want to ruin the suspens for you!)

I've seen until season 2...I'm desperate to start season 3, but I have school and I have to study, I'm going to watch it this week :)

I'm hoping for a battlefield death too, I want to see a grand funeral with all the trimmings :D

With a great slow motion shot of him falling of his horse with a sad music backgroud and then a scene with no dialogue where we see Henry receiving the news of his death and becoming mad with grief (=destroying all the fournitures around) at the loss of his friend.... :bigcry:

Guess it's too late to write that to Michael Hirst :P

Ok! You'll see s3 is even better!!!

And girls, our lovely extra speaks again!!!! Here today's review!!

Well, another days filming under the belt, and, sadly, the very last large court scene. The extra’s army was ninety eight strong this time, and we were used in the arrival to Henry’s court of the French High Admiral, D’Anabault (note of me, it's 'D'Annebault ^^). It was a long scene, and particularly gruelling as soundstage D at Ardmore was, for some reason, boiling hot! I was used as max Brown’s stand-in again and went on set at 8am, came out at 1:45 for lunch, was called back at 2:05 and we finished at just gone 6pm. A long, hard day.

Despite the heat and aching feet, it could not be denied that there was a great atmosphere on set. Everyone seemed happy. Even standing in the same position for ages didn’t seem to dampen the stand-in’s spirits (though it did dampen the clothes! I took my frilly shirt off in costume and it was wet! Yuck!). We were privileged to see the new, and last, incarnation of Prince Edward, a splendidly capable nine-year-old actor named Jake Hathaway who blew us all away with his performance, especially as he was word perfect. That might not seem too surprising for a pro, but it has to be remembered that his lines were in Latin!

JRM was once again superb as the aging King, and his rapport with young Jake was entirely natural. The two of the sitting next to each other on the Throne was really touching. Mr Meyers has a wonderful, calming way with children. (I was reminded of the scene in season three filmed in Christchurch Cathedral, where we had one hundred children dressed in white and carrying candles. After the scene was completed, he gladly chatted and posed with them whilst their mothers and guardians took numerous souvenir photos. A star he most indisputably is, but he’s also a nice guy.)

As the day ended, several actors were wrapped for good and applause rattled the soundstage roof! Even the extras were applauded by the actors!

I have one more day of filming – there are only ten extras in - and that is on Monday. After that, I can hang up my cloak for good!

Like always, awesome review! Can't wait to see this little boy speaking Latin and see how Henry VIII is towards his son!

As for the french amiral, he was a 'favorite' (?) of King Francis, a good friend and the second important person in the kingdome after the king. He was in charge of 'state matters' (do no how to translate it). Here what he looked like:

200px-Claude_d%27Annebault.jpg

I can't wait to read the last review of the extra...It will be charged of emotion I guess and after that, no more news... :bigcry:

Yeah I don't think i expressed myself well enough in reaction to the pics nope not at all  there needed to be some more just more :D

Ok girls! It was the last day of filming of our lovely extra insider!!! Here his last review...

Talking about the costumes

The extras’ costumes really are very heavy and hot. And it doesn’t seem to make any difference whether it’s the ladies or men’s; we ALL suffer! It also has to be noted that whilst our costumes are “authentic”, in that the manufacturers utilized wool and linen and all sorts of heavy material, the principal’s attire is made from much lighter fabrics where possible. Two fellow extras were asked to be body doubles for Henry Cavill and JRM, and they said the costumes were a delight to wear in comparison to their own!

Luckily, the wardrobe department for the Tudors’ extras was staffed and run by extremely considerate, hard working people. We were greeted each morning by the smell of fresh washing, clean shirts and tights, and during the summer it was not unusual to see racks and racks of men’s frilly shirts outside in the sunshine blowing in the breeze! The ladies dresses, as far as I know, were dry- cleaned regularly. And as to how hard the wardrobe department works; they will still be working three weeks after the filming wraps, repairing and washing and cleaning the hundreds of costumes before they then repackage them in preparation for shipping back to their respective suppliers in the UK and Spain.

I've asked him on the French amiral :P to know who is the actor portraying him and about the last day of shooting...

I don’t know the actor who portrays d’Annebault, other than his first name is Kenneth. I must say that his performance was fabulous, and his entrance to court made us all smile, as he gives the most personable performance.

And yes, the last day was a sad one. There were only twenty extras on set, nine of them counselors. We filmed the King’s farewell to his family as he sends them to Greenwich just before Christmas, knowing that he is dying. It is a very poignant scene, and one that tried the actors’ emotions greatly.

:bigcry: JRM will make us cry big time girls!!!

As for the amiral, I can't wait to see him (hope they didn't emphasis the 'french pride' like they did for every french character on the show 'til now :dozey: We're not that bad and cocky XD! )

I assume people will continue asking him questions for a few days so I guess there will be little pieces of infos to come in the next few days ^^

And to conclude:

I LMAO when I saw it in the theater! The dialogues are witty and very funny/cynic :laugh3: Plus, I love the interaction the main character has with the audience, he's talking to us, it's awesome! Pity Henry has a little role...He's just there to be gorgeous, but I'd have prefer to see his actual acting skills used... :dozey:
