I understand!! It's the same in here for the broadcasting of the Tudors!! Season 3 will be aired in spring 2010 (and on a private channel that I don't have :/)!!! And so the DVD out for summer 2010! So a YEAR late compared to US!! :bigcry:

I'm going in London in December (gonna see Hampton Court :D, I'll post pics) and I will see if the UK DVD have french subtitles cause the wait is killing me :bomb:

 

I'm really loving internet for allowing us, poor non US countries, to see the show at the same time as them!!

The same with the simpsons, I have to watch the serie in the internet, in Fox Channel here, the simpsons are in the 8th-9th season, it's really frustrating...they play allways the same episodes

 

with the tudors too, the first episode I saw was from the 1st season a month ago! --'

Yes, it was my good fortune to be in several scenes with Mr. Frain, obviously where Cromwell was dealing with or present during meetings with the King’s counsellors (including when he was secretary to Thomas Moore).

 

As an actor, he came across as a purposeful individual, always reserved but never aloof, professional but never distant. He’d often talk to the extras, something that other actors wouldn’t do if they could possibly help it. His dedication to the part of Cromwell was self-evident in his performance, and on set, yet he never seemed to let the part interfere with his enjoyment of the production. We, as extras, had an almost universal regard for him as an actor, and I believe that feeling was shared by his fellow thespians. He had the ability to draw the attention of everyone on set during filming, such is the poise and gravitas he gave the character. Between takes, he would often be heard discussing economics, a subject he obviously finds fascinating, or be seen taking photographs of the actors, extras and the marvellous sets.

 

It was a real pleasure being involved in a production with Mr. Frain, and we (the extras) were sorry to see him go. It’s not too far fetched an assumption to speculate that The Tudors may not have been such a success if he and JRM’s characters had not been developed as well as they did to visibly share such a volatile, mutually dependant yet ultimately dispensable relationship.

No, I didn't work in the first season, therefore missed MDK. However, I know she was on set towards the end of this season...

 

All of the male extras hated Henry Cavill because he's so darn handsome! (Just joking about not liking him!) And conversely, it seems he was the ladies favourite for the same reasons! He came across as being very focused, and perhaps a little shy? There certainly is a sense of a lot more beneath the surface of HC - as in he has an inner calm that projects into his characters - and that may well explain the persistant rumours that he's to play James Bond at some point in his career.

Funny thing: there is a movie shooting in my region taking place during the Tudor area (from a famous french director) and this morning, in the newspaper, they said that the production will use some of the costumes used in the TV show The Tudors XD!!! Since they finished thier shooting, the french could now borrow them! Funny ha?!

I loved MDK also, her character was the best during season 1 and 2. If she comes back that would be fantastic. I'm thinking she'd still be the kind soul and voice of reason even during his death .

YIKES that hair :sick: Makes his head look really really long :(. Yes yes chop it off all of it, to the nice curly locks that i know and love :wacky:

 

More visits from all of the wives, too bad the extra isn't working anymore, maybe the question of Nathalie returning as Anne could be answered. Although the appearances could be due to this being the 4th and final season, a kind of a it was great working with everyone kind of thing :shrug:

But here's what the girl told me when I asked her about the bonus:

 

Previously, I had found in an article that the DVD would include a whole bunch of extras (I think she's speaking about the article I put above), but the copy that I got just includes deleted scenes and bloopers and outakes (still not a bad deal). Also there is no menu for other languages or subtitles. I am sure that the extra bundle will vary in different countries
