I once stepped on a pencil, and consequently, I had a piece of graphite stuck in my foot for almost 2 full days before (thanks to time, some gauze, and more than a bit of pork fat) my parents could get it to where it would come out. I could still show you exactly where on my foot it was lodged, because there's a lovely little circle on the bottom of it.

Literally everyone I meet asks me where I'm from because of the accent I have, and are always shocked that I grew up in Knoxville, TN. There are a couple guys at a cafe and in my dorm who, whenever I'm hanging out have to tell people. "Hey, guess where he's from!"

 

I once had a girl tell me she wanted to record my voice and carry it around with her wherever she went. :rolleyes:
