Sitting or Standing?

Featured Replies

I'm going to the concert in Houston next week and I was just wondering if people in the seats (not the lawn or the section right in front of the stage but the actual seats) have been standing or sitting for the most part during the ampitheatre shows? Thanks

I'd say any ground seats you'd be standing. I was even standing in the upper levels of a few concerts in Toronto.

Yeah I stood the whole time, as did everyone else. You can't help but to stand :D

Stand!!!!! Sure, the seats are there, but I don't see how you could possibly sit during a Coldplay show?! That's one of the few things that bothered me about seeing Coldplay in OKC and sitting where I was sitting. I was the only person in my section standing, screaming, singing, dancing...........the rest sat and looked at me as if I'd gone nuts.

The Woodlands Pavilion is set up to where you could probably sit, but I doubt you'd be able to see if you do. Most concerts I've gone to there, everyone stands in the front reserved seating at least. This will be the first one I've attended since the remodel due to the damage from Hurricane Ike, but it looks like it's pretty much the same other than the splitting of the rear sections and the new canopy over all the seats...

I was up there this past weekend, and it looks really nice. The Woodlands has grown so much though! I remember when it really WAS in the woods! Now it's all built up around it with the waterway and all... It's still a beautiful venue though and I'm so psyched it's sold out since it will make it even better! Those people are going to bake on the lawn though, ouch!

I'm so excited, just over a week to go!!! :chris::will::jonny::guy:

I don't care if everyone in my sec. sit's I know hubby and I will be standing!!!! Mines in August!! If anyone tells me to sit cause they can't see, I will nicely say, "THEN GET THE HELL UP AND STAND!!" LOL

The crowds here are always on their feet even before the band gets on the stage. So standing is a must :smug: It's so hard not to stand, and sitting just bottles up all the live energy that is supposed to be in a show.

I say, let loose and have fun.

Yes, exactly! I tried to get my husband to stand up and he just continued to sit. I finally yelled at him, "Why are you sitting down?!" and he answered with, "because the people behind me who are sitting won't be able to see."

ou can stand. I did even though some people were sitting.

no need to let them ruin you fun :P
