If somebody did put them on youtube couldn't someone else just report it and get it taken off?

They're quite beautiful, really. Interesting to see how the demos influenced their current works. 'Bloodless Revolution', for example, is almost definitely an early version of 42. You should consider listening, if you have no morals like the rest of us... :uhoh:

 

I don't really want to listen to them and start feeling like I want more, or a finished version, and that's pointless.

Those songs are never going to be complete or released. So I won't bother and let you do your PM plan :P

They probably could. If I had the demos I'd do one of these two options:

 

1. Secretely stash the demos so no one except me would hear them and so only me and the Coldplay boys would hear them. :P

 

2. Burst into the closest news studio and shout loudly and stuff and reveal the songs to the world, awaiting legal prosecution. :lol:

however, imo, the join date idea beats the postcount idea...

Even if it was taken off, many people would have already ripped the song during the course of time it was still up.

And as much as I'd like to hear them, if he said he gave us by far the best of the samples, then I appreciate that and am satisfied. On the other hand, hypocrite that I am, I'll do everything I can to get them if they DO leak, which I sorta hope they don't. :uhoh: Just my 2 cents. ;)

I think this is probably the worst idea ever. It's just bad behavior. Even if the demos aren't leaked by "true" Coldplayers, how would the band react to this weird lottery system to get to their illegally-gotten property? :\ And the chances of leaks are pretty much 100%. It's just my 2 cents as someone who rarely posts, but I think this whole thing should be dropped.

As much as I'd love to hear these demos, this just reeks of injustice, dodginess and lack of morals. Who are we to judge who's 'worthy' to hear some Coldplay demos?! All or nothing. ^^
