July 21, 200916 yr 1-Signs-Bloc Party 2-Dying is Fine by Ra Ra Riot. 3-The Funeral by Band of Horses Play Crack the Sky - Brand New Good choice.
July 21, 200916 yr Thanks :D EDIT for my choices...I'm adding Sunsets Over Monroeville by My Chemical Romance :nice:
July 21, 200916 yr  i've decided that haddaway wasn't awesome enough...so i now choose Chicken Fried by the Zac Brown Band  i want them to play odd music at my funeral :D you know, chaka khan, spice girls, sean kingston, a TON of random stuff...and coldplay of course :P
July 21, 200916 yr Snow Patrol-Chasing Cars : "If I lay here. If I just lay here.Would you lie with me...." Yeah I don't know never though about it guess it'd just be songs I love, I hope it's not anytime soon though.
July 21, 200916 yr I personally don't have a list, yet, but I did make a CD for my father when he dies. He had asked me to make one and the songs he wanted on it were... Wind Beneath My Wings by Bette Midler, Eagle by ABBA, My Heart Goes On by Celine Dion, and the Marine Corp Hymn. With the exception of the Bette Midler song, I like the songs he wanted on the disc.
July 21, 200916 yr Purple Haze? Well now that I think of the lyrics that Excuse me while I kiss the sky is a classic one, and fits perfectly, but I just can't get the picture on my mind of that blueish riff being played on a mournful ceremony like a funeral
July 21, 200916 yr I would also like to add "Goodnight Travel Well" by the Killers. That would be very appropriate, although its seems sort of awkward to have a song that mourns over yourself.
July 21, 200916 yr *gopala- john mcdowell (actually a traditional indian chantie) *reckoner- radiohead *clarinet concerto in a, k. 622: II. adagio w.a. mozart and for that sucky bit, when the body is transported to it's final place (that's when i get the mega crisis every time  ): *now my feet won't touch the ground- coldplay *beautiful day- u2 for the bit when the living go to their cars....( a final chance to remember how out of touch with "normality" i've been my entire life :P ) You'd kill your friends and family of sadness with that playlist
July 21, 200916 yr ^ oh no. they know me, they gonna chuckle a bit to get rid of that damn irritation and know that i'd highly appreciate that. and of course they gonna cry too, but it's a funeral after all....
July 21, 200916 yr Which song(s) do you want to play at your funeral and why? Here's my playlist 1. John Lennon - Imagine 2. Joy Division - Atmosphere 3. Radiohead - Motion Picture Soundtrack 4. Radiohead - Pyramid Song 5. Radiohead - VideotapeWhere the fuck is Dodgy?
February 23, 201115 yr due to the release of tkol i feel i need to edit my list: *gopala- john mcdowell (actually a traditional indian chantie) *reckoner- radiohead *clarinet concerto in a, k. 622: II. adagio w.a. mozart and for the sucky bit, when the ahes are being carried to their final place *give up the ghost-radiohead *separator- radiohead when the living go to their cars, preferably full blast all over the entire forest, so people get to move their hips and lighten up
February 23, 201115 yr I would definately choose Yellow Because when my best friend past away I played Yellow because it was our song btw I basicly planned the whole thing
February 23, 201115 yr I don't really know a "perfect list" for my..funeral, but I would like to have 'Tiny Dancer' by Elton John
February 23, 201115 yr so... i guess i'd just like my most listened songs to be played, though probably that'd be a list of around 12 hours, a hell torture! and probably won't make much sense to the listeners. i really don't care about now and i don't think i should bother my family with those last wishes. thought probably that one would be a must: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NCID3781Xcg]YouTube - Humanos - Adeus Que Me Vou Embora (ao vivo no Coliseu)[/ame] i'd prefer someone care to keep my music collection and listen it remembering me, in a fake way to keep alive. is what happen me with my mom music collection which i never felt so connected with, though now some songs have a lot of meaning to me, and that's why it took me a good 3 or 4 years to listen it again and not cry like a baby.
February 23, 201115 yr The End-The Doors ok not THIS song....but any song by the Doors... how weird..... I didn't know that I already posted in here and I was going to say "The end- The Doors"....but not in a serious way.....they should actually play it I guess
February 23, 201115 yr coldplay - The Scientest. Queen - Another one bites the dust (dont know who by ) Always look on the bright side of life
