Featured Replies

Hey all.

I am attending Coldplay's concert on sep 19th.

I have a standing and level1 unreserved ticket and want to stand VERY close to the stage.

From your experience, when should i arrive at wembley?

gates open on 4PM...

Thanks!

Or we tell them to get there at 4am to get the best place, then we all get dragged to the front! Sheesh, Ian, think with your head next time!

:P

I want to go to Wembley so bad!

If only plane tickets weren't so damn expensive!

This concert is going to be incredible with all the coldplayers there!

...I'm jealous.

You'll be there in spirit!! :nice:

Hopefully you will be lucky in the selection of your gate number and you will enter the standing area near the front

I wish I was going. Plane tickets are really expensive. That is really the only thing holding me back.

ok... seriously?

I'm not going to be able to get there with my cousin until 10 am, and I KNOW that it won't be early enough to get front row... maybe even 2nd or 3rd row. The yellow shirt could come up big.

Folks!

I dont know how to plan my day in London.

On the one hand its Coldplay! I must stand CLOSE!!!

but on the other, I travel to London from far away and wasting the whole day standing in lines would be horrible.

(+ my feet and back will hurt so much!)

I dont have to stand on the first row, neither the second or third.

I want to be preety close.......first 1/5 of the standing area.

When should i arrive?

Wembley - Doors Open 4pm, Show Starts 4pm? What?

On the official Coldplay website, under ticket purchase for the 19th at Wembley it says that doors open at 4pm and that the concert starts at 4pm. What time does the concert start? I really need to know this. I had planned to go to this concert for about a year now, and the time came around so quick, a few days ago I got my tickets for the Arsenal game on the 19th, completely forgetting about Coldplay. Today I checked the date, this might be profitable because it means only 1 trip to London, but should I go on the 18th or the 19th? It all depends on the time...

What time does the concert START? I will have to rush from The Emirates to Wembley as soon as the match ends if it's at 6pm, if it's earlier, I will have to go on the 18th and find a hotel.

Thanks guys :) 1st post.

There's three support acts for Wembley and a curfew of 10.30pm so am thinking the first act will be on at 5pm at the latest.

Coldplay themselves won't be on until 8-8.30ish.

8-8.30? Wow that's a relief, has this been confirmed though? Where is there any other information apart from starting at 4pm? I really need to know before I pay over the price for my tickets from a certain web site :)

No confirmation on exact time no.

But I can assure you Coldplay themselves will not be on as early as 4pm :)

I am looking for tickets to the 19th. I now have a major problem, I have already paid for my 1 day return to London and the last train out is at 8.30pm. This means that Coldplay will have to be on at around 6.30pm at the latest if I want to see the whole concert. Does anybody have any knowledge of how I can find out the time Coldplay will be on? Even if it costs to pay for the call, thank you.

no way coldplay will be on as early as that. There are 3 support acts which will each get probably 40-50 minute slots. So with all that and stage set up, you're looking at Coldplay arriving about the time your train is due :\

Wow that's unfair, I completely unknowingly booked these Arsenal tickets (first home game I can get to this season) without realising. I always had in my mind "Coldplay in September, it's ages away yet", until today it just stunned me!

My alternative is to pay £10 to change my train tickets, and also pay for a travel lodge. But this is money...bah. How much would a travel lodge be for 1 night anywhere between Kings Cross and Wembley?

Thank you very much for your help, and I will hopefully see you all there!

Viva La Coldplay.

lol thats what you get for watching Arsenal.

Good luck getting there on time.

That should be fine Emma, you have a seat like us don't you so there is no rush to get in and the doors won't even open until 4pm. My train arrives at Paddington at 12.30 then I still have to go and check into the hotel etc etc so we won't get there much before 4 I wouldn't think either.
