Anyway, I don't really like it when people my age say they love coldplay but they've only heard VLV or Violet Hill.

As for me, I'm only 12 so I was only 5 or so when Coldplay were really getting famous (at this time I just knew them as the band my dad liked) When VLV (album) came out I really got into them. I'm not one of these people who only like VLV but it's just what hooked me into them. Parachutes is one of my favourite album of all time and I love VLV and AROBTTH but personally I don't like X&Y too much.

i AM annoyed with fans who just like the VLV album or that started liking them cuz of that album. i am NOT annoyed with them liking coldplay cuz i like people who like coldplay.

 

i am just annoyed with the ones who go to a coldplay concert and dont even know the words to most of their songs(jthey're just taking up space).

 

i guess it has to do with the fact that i had been waiting since i was 12 to go to their concert and when i finally got to go(at 19) it was so difficult to get tickets. and i saw that a lot of people around me just went cuz of VLV. i guess im just a little selfish, i dont like sharing the things i love.

anyways i DONT hate "new" coldplay fans , i actually try to get people to listen to coldplay all the time. all i can think of telling them is "where have you been all these years?"

 

one more thing about those young coldplayers who just discovered coldplay, its not their fault they were so young when coldplay first started out.( i started to listen to coldplay at 10)

:\ I prefer to ignore the very new coldplay fans for about a month or so till they calm their hormones down and actually get into listening to the older stuff besides what is in their opinion is the greatest album of all time aka viva la vida because the radio says so, I mean viva was great but seriously I'm 100% some of these guys just say that because they never gave the previous 3 a try...
