i kinda knew you would say that paul :dozey:

:laugh3: JOSH yes this thread was started for you,

i don't know i just wanted people opinions

i never thought it would get this big :wideeyed:

and yeah i like viva la vida but i'm not even going to think twice about comparing it to like clocks or something like that you know :smug2:

Don't really care.

There's two sides to this.

One side is that people can like whoever they want, we can't judge them for that. Even if they are just doing it to be "in".

The other side is that the newer Coldplayers seem to be all the spammers, making Coldplaying most certainly not what it used to be.

.

2 Questions:

Do you think the newer spammers are mostly younger than the pre-VIVA fans?

and

Can you describe in what ways the "old" Coldplaying.com was different?

I didn't become a Coldplay fan until Viva la Vida. It took me a few months before I started listening to their older stuff, but once I did, I liked it MUCH more than VLVODAAHF.

I think it's really stupid for people who've like Coldplay for years to feel so superior to those of us who didn't get into Coldplay until last year. It's retarded, even. Why does it matter how or when you become a fan? Do you think Coldplay only loves the fans who've been with them since day one? And who even cares if people only like their newest album. It doesn't matter. If people love Coldplay's music and become fans, that's great!

Your opinion does not matter because you recently got into Coldplay.

It doesn't matter! A Coldplay fan is a Coldplay fan.

When did you become a fan anyway?

Hah I was half kidding, just because you were complaining about it. December of 2005 for me.

I agree with you!!! ;)

well that made me laugh!:laugh3:

Notice how it's only new people saying the Viva la Vida noobs are cool.

Aside from that, it's just the really overly nice board members.

There are a few cool noobs...but not many.

Okay then. :P

Well, when I was growing up, I wasn't even allowed to listen to secular music... I wasn't interested in it anyways. Until 2005, when I started listening to the radio more, and watching mtv... but I really only liked Kelly Clarkson. :embarassed: I probably hadn't even heard of Coldplay, for all I know. :inquisitive:

well out of all the american idols.. I kinda like Kelly clarkson too..but I don't own any album of hers though..

I threw up a little when I heard the secular music thing. Then a little more when you said you started watching mtv and listening to the radio, then I just completely hurled when you said you liked Kelly Clarkson.

The AI's are always shit after AI.

I'm also a newbie to the board.

You're cool though :cool3:

I don't like Kelly Clarkson anymore. I did back when I was 13/14. And I haven't even listed to the radio or watched mtv since I was 14.

it's okay..there's no need to explain...:chinese:
