Q. Dearest Oracle,

What does "OK" mean?

The Oracle replies:

If I describe something as "ok" it means it's not bad or adequate. If someone asks me if I would want to do something and I reply "ok" it means yes. Sometimes I use it as a pause before I launch into an answer.

Either that Jeff dude is st00pid, or he was asking about the origin of "OK" but obviously wasn't clear enough for The Oracle's HIGH IQ level.

OR The Oracle was just being sarcastic in the least funny ways.

Whatever it is, that question was so unnecessary it doesn't need its own thread!

Or maybe it does, just to mock The Oracle & that Jeff dude.

Yeah, it needed its own thread because of how ridiculous it was.

I'm sure that the guy who sent in the question just did it to see if The Oracle would answer. I wonder if she realized this? She probably thought that it would be funny to answer....

The story continues! People still don't get what okay means. I didn't know Coldplay fans (and oracles) were so stupid.

Q. Dearest Oracle,

Jeff asked you, what 'OK' meant and you explained the meaning, which was interesting. But maybe he wanted to know what the two letters O and K meant und what relation they had to the actual meaning...

THX!

Rob

The Oracle replies:

Ah ok (ha ha)... well basically it's just a shortened form of the full word which is okay given that phonetically it is O and K.
