Is anyone Anal with their iTunes library?

Featured Replies

Got to confess I am, have to have things grouped, artworks and tags perfect. I even use photoshop to fix up artwork, cut it into the right shape. Everything has to have the right tag, and artwork.

Yeah weird, but I bet others do it.

I hate iTunes and therefore avoid it any way I can... I'm pretty obsessive with my folders on the PC however

You hate itunes? :shocked2:

Yes I am. I always have to have album artwork or I won't listen to the track at all :uhoh:

Yeah, I've made artwork for demo collections before

Yeah, same. Live recordings too.

sippy! i've taken up many hours of my precious time to get that as perfect as possible.

I need to have everything perfect on my iTunes library for fear I may go insane. :P

I can't remember the last time I saw you use that smiley...

Oh my god yes I am, I have to have every album art. It has to be perfect.

Nope, my itunes is in a bit of a mess. :shame:

I'm missing loads of artwork which is annoying, but i will have to sort that out one day! I remember spending like an hour rating all the songs though!

I am with Windows Media Player...but i only use itunes for transferring music etc...

Yes. Completely.

I cut out square pictures for live, acoustics, and demos.

EVERYTHING has to have artwork or cover flow looks hideous.

Also, the first letter of everything MUST be capitalized.

I'm the same too.

YES.

Also, one thing that annoys me is that some of the songs I've gotten from the Multimedia section are from sendspace, which WILL NOT let me change the info. It especially annoys me because it'll say that the genre is Brit pop or something like that, and I *have* to change it. But it won't let me. :bigcry:

I don't have itunes but I am too, very much. I spend a lot of time getting everything as perfect as I can.

my i tunes is so organized. :smug2:

everything has an alum cover.

an artist.

an album.

a year and lyrics. :wideeyed:

im super organized in regard to the labels. i hate when the artist's name isnt spelled correctly, or there's no album title or something. i care less about album covers, unless its really messed up. or if i really love the band and wanna keep it super organized.

I spend a few hours every month getting new album artwork, identifying albums songs came off, etc. I hate all those stupid music symbols instead of album covers.

What really gets me is my iPod refuses to display certain album covers for some reason. Gahhhh.
