Coldplay fans demand a replay for 'ruined' Barcelona gig

Featured Replies

Yes, it happened to me. I flew from California to Georgia to Florida (3400 km) just to go to the Tampa show. Several other people were also flying in from around the US. I found out the concert was cancelled when I landed in Georgia, after a 4.5 hour flight. I had to continue on to Tampa because I could not change/cancel my flight and I had pre-paid my hotel. So I met other Coldplayers who also had to go to Tampa and we spent a nice day together, even without Coldplay.

But there still has not been any announcement about rescheduling and it's been a month today. People can get refunds from LiveNation, but I don't want to give up my pit ticket yet.

A concert with a few sound issues is better than no concert at all. A friend of mine from California lives in Barcelona and went to the concert with his son. He is not on these boards, and he said the concert was great after the sound issues were resolved after the first 3 songs. No complaints from him.

I'm glad you understood my post, cause it was for you and everyone else that happened in Tampa!!!

I know isn't it cool:cool:

gosh..they shouldn't be complaining like that. Think about all of us fans who got the tampa concert cancelled on us (i'm still geting over it) ;)

we didn't even get a concert.....at least they did, sound probs or not. it's ridiculous for them to complain. urgh....

YES!!! From one Floridian to another, I agree!!

Barca already got a free concert at the begining of the tour and now they want to whine about a few PA problems. Maybe next tour Coldplay can just play Madrid and they can suck it. How about that!

What we must remember is its 2,000 out of 60,000 people, so in percentage terms thats not alot about 3%. I doubt its anyone on these boards and its a shame people can be so petty. Granted if i was there i would be fustarted at the time but as soon as it would be sorted i wouldn't care, it lasted for 3 out of 21 songs, bet they weren't complained for the other 18 songs

Too bad for the people that didn't felt satisfied because of the sound problems, but they should feel lucky...At least they had a concert, here in Latinamerica we haven't had the pleasure to see Coldplay live :(

Wow, talk about being ungrateful and unappreciative... Don't they understand how privileged they are to see the band live? There are so many other fans all over the world who don't even get the chance to have the experience!

Ughh...sometimes people can be so selfish. Just because they had some sound problems in the beginning of the show doesn't mean that the rest of it wasn't awesome. Shit! Tampa's show got cancelled and you don't see them getting all mad and wanting to sign a petition to get them to come back. Barcelona is making themselves look bad by demanding this! Grr. People can be so idiotic.
