For me, it's Glass of Water. Didn't know it existed until I left iTunes running one day, and it came on. Now i'm on 11 plays or something.

The song Square One took like 293482034280 listens for me to finally like it.

Also, another one is Ode to Deodorant. I was so shocked when I first heard it but now I fairly enjoy it. :)

thanks Grace. Nah, actually, I liked Ode to Deoderant from the start. Fix You is another that grew on me.

For me, it's more of a 'OMG I LOVE IT' when I first listen to it and then it grows off me.

 

However, pretty much all The Blue Room EP and Brothers and Sisters EP songs took a while to grow on me...

That's the same for me! Like I was obsessed with Lost! at first (one of the two songs that got me into Coldplay) but now it's just alright. Of course I still love it, but it isn't one of my favorites.

At first I hardly noticed it, I even skipped it, because it was a little too loud for my taste. :lol: It's been one of my absolute favourite tracks for years now. It makes me shiver on so many levels and it makes me cry.

Politik was way too loud for me somehow, and then just one day, I LOVED it and now its one of my favorite Coldplay songs.

 

Same with A Rush of Blood to The Head, didnt like it, now I love it.

Hmmm...it took Strawberry Swing, Speed of Sound, Clocks, Fix You, Yellow, Violet Hill, Prospekt's March, Talk, The Hardest Part, and Gravity.

I TRIED to like 42 when I started out with Coldplay...but I can't. I just can't. :/

Following Clocks is a tall order, and that may have soured the song for me at first, but I find it a great listen now.

 

Chinese Sleep Chant is another one. Seemed like ho-hum filler at first, but it sounds great right before Viva.

The first few times I heard it, it just seemed so un-Coldplayish, until I watched Live 2003 and my mind was changed completely.
