Is Chris sick?

Featured Replies

When I say Coldplay at Nijmegen (september 10th) I allready noticed Chris wasn't looking 'healthy' but after I've read the review on the frontpage I'm worring more and more. What do you think? Is he sick? :stunned:

And since when is that then? I hope he gets better though! And fast!

Umm, I think that was my review on the front page (??)

But yes he seemed really sick last night, let's hope it's just a virus.

Chris we need you alive for Wembley, after it doesn't matter if you die ! JK ! :D

Get well soon boy !

I hope its not the Swine Flu or are we suppose to call it the H1N1 virus?

I hope he gets better soon!

:bigcry:get better chrissy!!!!

luv ya!!!

yeah he didn't look that well at the nijmegen concert.. but it was not so bad that it had effect on his voice. hope he's getting better soon, before the wembley, the great finale!

Poor Chris to get sick at such a bad time! Let's hope he does not strain himself too much when he is off stage!

Get better, Chris!

Maybe he's not sick, but just really exhausted. He really deserves some rest :\

I agree though that he looked sick in Nijmegen, but that didn't have any influence on his voice.

Chris, fuck you! You stupid fucking idiot! Get better, we love you too much! Take a break! Please! We want you to get better. Your fans are begging you! Your sick and we can't help but worry constantly about you. We want you to take a break and get better. Don't put us through this agony, of worrying about you.

If you wrote the Manchester review, then yes ;)! Just pray he gets better or what ever he has.

Chris if you read this listen to this: [ame=

A friend of mine was talking to me about "Chris" being sick, she opened my eyes to the fact that first Chris looks pale because he's english, he's lost his tan, second, he has been sweating so very much due to all the extra lights they have been using for the stadium gigs, (he has sweat for years on stage)

yes he has been using a scarf, maybe to insure he keeps his throat safe, the climate has changed from hot humidity in the states to cooler conditions overseas, he and the other members are exhausted from this tour, so yes he is going to look alittle under the weather, but I think physically, he is just tired. I wasn't at these last shows where folks noticed some changes in Chris, but the Videos show he seems pretty fit considering all the show's and travel they have been doing. Just my views on it.

That's also possible off course. I hope that is the right explanation.

Debs Wild posted this in the Manchester Thread,

Debs Wild:Great to read all the reviews and stories. I got in at 4 and watched everyone running to the front so must have seen a few of you. Hope you were wearing sunscreen?

Saw Jonny first who was miming, mouthing words and gesturing as it was he who was in fact the poorliest member but he didn't seem ill, just resting his voice; usual happy smiley Jonny in good spirits.

Saw Will watching White Lies, sporting a scarf so they must all be protecting their exposed necks... also in fine fettle.

Chris didn't appear ill to me when I saw him beforehand and he watched Jay Z from a balcony - went unnoticed, quite funny that no-one seemed to be looking at him! Didn't seem ill during show to me either....

Saw Guy warming up and he too was in good mood, so all round, think the next few shows will be amazing!!

I know there's a Chris quote out there from a awhile ago where he apologizes for sweating so much, and says something about the front row being able to clone him from all the dna from his sweat? Gross thought...

And I'm surprised his voice has held out as long as it has! Fan after fan reviews have said how hoarse they are after a concert from cheering and singing a long - hell, Chris has been doing this every 2 or 3 nights for FOURTEEN MONTHS! We're all exhausted after one night of singalong, and he's done 155 shows. His voice has to be a bit tired now. I wonder what type of voice lessons he takes, my son takes voice lessons and is being trained in Speech Level Singing Technique (http://voice-lessons.com/SLS.html).

As much as I wish they'd hurry up and reschedule Tampa, they deserve a break to recover, and hang out at home for awhile.

@Dianne, Yeah, I will be hoarse from just yelling Sat. night, and when they come back to Tampa, you and me are gonna have some fun baby!!!! "well not that sort of fun, but you know what I mean"
