Oh, wow. I looked up at the next tab and noticed it the moment I read it.

 

Some of the background behind articles is grey now instead of black paint, too. (Sorry if it's been mentioned.)

 

Guess they really are changing the site one element at a time. Probably saves them from having to take the site down for a day or two.
