that cant be right. the light bulb picture is showing up much larger than that :confused:

 

I think it's not :thinking: it looks like it's only 800 x 600 at least to me :D I just resized my picture into that and they're pretty much the same size. :smiley:

the bulb is 800 x 500 or 640 x 400!!!...

it won´t last forever. i dunno why but i think they use it just for the beginning and then change back to the white theme we´ve known..

When they say "only landcape format" what does that mean? What's included in that?

width greater than height?

Basically...

Landscape = Short and fat

Portrait = Tall and skinny

Example, Ian's sig is landscape, his avi is portrait :P

The standard size of my picture was 3072 x 2304,

and when I uploaded that into the Exhibition Room it was automatically resized to the 800 x 600 size when it went to the preview page.

i have only the 3:2 format option on my camera.

i think its not going to be resized as easy as yours..

anyways, when i saw the Bulb, i was kind of discouraged to submit any photo because it's too beautiful. :laugh3::laugh3: but i'll still try. :laugh3: got to resize my photos though. :)

It seems like we do because our first submissions didn't necessarily fit in the proper format nor include title, location of person submitting etc. ~~ I'm guessing we need to resubmit them now with all that info included.

So... they will pick one thing each day right ? :wacko:

The email I got said "The best creation submitted by 11.59pm on November 4th will be picked as the launch Exhibit. After that, all other Exhibits will come via the Exhibition Room upload form on Coldplay.com. If the creation you email to [email protected] isn't picked as the launch item, then please feel free to upload it via Coldplay.com once the Exhibition Room has launched."

 

So to me, that means they discarded everything that was sent in, except for the winner, Bulb, and to be considered for the daily Exhibit, you need to submit again.

What about the photos being sent before the page is fully ready?
