It was great to see his back story and why he decided to follow Jacob. It also made it interesting to see more of the tension between the MIB and Jacob as well. I think it'd be really interesting to have an episode that lets us know the back story of them and why they have hatred towards each other.

 

Once again the MIB tried to manipulate someone in that he posed himself as Isabelle, and used her death as a cause for Richard to kill Jacob out of revenge.

 

I'd still like to also know how is it possible that Jacob has such powers to enable Richard to live forever.

The captain of the ship was Magnus Hanso, which is all linked into Dharma.

 

He is the ancestor of the man who founded Dharma, Alvar Hanso

 

The guy killing the people was called something like Whitman though

 

The writers are fucking genius, the parallel scripting and repetition of phrases is so fucking amazing.

EDIT: Oh, and I'm on team Locke/MIB/smoke monster. I LOVE Terry O'Quinn, and for some reason, I'm getting the feeling that we'll see that Jacob isn't as great as he's made out to be. Could be wrong.

I prefer the other guy playing Smokey to Terry O'Quinn, he plays the role SO much better, want more of him please.

One of the best episodes of the season. Was so looking forward to Richard's centric ep. Not disappointed at all!

Ah I was just making assumptions, normally they do "Finale name" pts 1, 2 +3

 

But this time pt1 is called "What They Died For" and pts 2+3 are called "The End"

 

Also my theory that episode 15 is gunna be a Smokey/Jacob centric has been confirmed!
