...it was great that desmond is finally back in the picture. I wonder how his character will play a part.

 

It seems interesting how now Widmore is clearly on Jack's side in stopping Locke/MIB from leaving the island.

 

I still see it being difficult to stop Locke, though I have a feeling that perhaps Jack will stop him.

 

 

What I found interesting though was how Jack takes on his leadership persona, yet he lends a hand out to Sun, much like how Jacob or the MIB did to give them a power or something. I wonder if this is significant.

 

 

I'll have to catch up on next weeks episode on Wednesday, I'll be seeing Thom Yorke live so I won't have a chance to see it in real time unfortunately

The show is 100x more exciting with Desmond in it (all desmond haters can ignore that! haha) Those bagpipes sounded disturbingly ominous though - not looking forward to what is ahead for poor des! :/ IMDB says he is in every episode form now on except for 1. Hallelujah!

 

and I totally agree - i was really surprised to see Widmore acting like that - he's def on team island - not sure what i expected out of him, but was surprised for sure!

 

So glad to see the love story shift back to Jin & Sun though - i have had just about enough of Kate- she can stay on the island for all i care.

I don't believe Smokey is going to help people (especially the candidates) to get off the island. He can't get off as long as there are candidates, right? So that means he'll have to kill them in order to escape. But I am wondering, is he just going to kill everyone as soon as he's free (as insinuated by Widmore)? That doesn't make any sense. :thinking:

EXACTLY. this was amazingly satisfying. Let's talk after the west coasters and anyone else not in Eastern US have seen this. All I can say is that Desmond & Penny need to be in every episode. It's a shame that he was missing for so long.

I thought this episode was great because I really enjoy all the cool science-fiction type stuff, and I was glad to see more of that tonight... it's one of my favorite things about Lost and hadn't been a prevalent theme much this season until tonight.

i just watched episode 10 (the one where Desmond just reached the island) last night.

 

glad to see Jack back in action, but i wish for more from Ben!

and Sayid is so expressionless lately.

this past episode was great! I thought it was great to have a desmond centric episode but also show how characters are having "hallucinations" of their past lives on the island. I wonder how desmond will get everyone else to see them. Also I'm still interested to know why Desmond is so important. Yes he seems immune to electromagnetic events, but I wonder what it means exactly.

 

it was also great to have daniel show up again... he's a great character.

sorry this is so big, and it's hard to make out, and i think i am a second too late to make it out any clearer, BUT that is a wedding ring! WHYYYYYYY... realities are bleeding together or do you think it was a mistake/faux pas. this is killing me!

The mystery of Desmond's peekaboo wedding ring? Perhaps his ''story'' was in flux or even remains in flux until the entire matter of castaway transmigration is settled.

I really hope so! :) I hope we find out the significance of it though!
