I am pretty sure you'd have to take some calculus courses and a statistics course at some point.

I've seen the whole program (8 semesters), NO MATH, thank God.

But we do have ethic crap subjects the first 4 semesters.

I think everyone worries about school and if what they are going for/going to go for them is the right thing to do. I say just go w/ what you feel is right and if worse comes to worse you can always change your major or have a backup plan.

initially I was going to major in music because i wanted to be an artist releasing albums but I felt it wasn't a very realistic field to go into. Not just because the music industry is struggling, but also being a one person band is tough and compared to others my age, my stuff can sound off or whatever.

though i'm in graphic design and I really enjoy it i'm glad that I can still have music as a big hobby and still get to make music.

I'll be honest with you, when I was 15 I did want to study music, but not like you, I wanted to specialize in classical music or something. Like you, unrealistic

Also wanted to do some design thing as well, but again, it's more like a hobby, music too, and I'm really happy to have those are stress relievers.

But I realized that medicine is all I want professionally. I find it beautiful, get excited when I read, and sometimes I enjoy not eating, having slept just 2 hours, even if it sounds like a masochist.

I think that's really cool. If there's something that interests you that much or u have such a passion for you gotta just go for it.

I've always found science stuff interesting/fascinating and enjoy having friends tell me about what they're learning, but I don't think I could major in that stuff... too much information and specifics

That's the challenge.

oh yeah. I mean I had really difficulty w/ chemistry in HS. I have a friend that's taking organic chem and he basically said that the difference between HS chem and college chem is like learning 2+2 and calculus.

so if I found chem tough, i'd be utterly lost w/ college.

so props to those that study this stuff.

Yes, that's why I decided to keep going.

Well, it can really fill your brain and make you go crazy, I remember my first anatomy test, I didn't study the first month and wanted to learn all the bones in one night.. Got sick of it.

I think I couldn't really major in design, not cause I don't like it, but I'm not as creative or gifted as other people.

How come?

Well, I guess we all feel a little let down at some point, me experiencing that this week, but bleh, it's all stress..

well I think I do some good stuff, but other people do these crazy things in photoshop that look really awesome. I haven't been able to do that kind of stuff. I find a lot of my stuff is more simple, but it still looks good. I also find I try and makr more clean designs and really focus on typography

Typography is an art I haven't experimented with yet. I've been interested though, but kept doing wallpapers and unfinished vectors on Illustrator.

And I think your stuff must be really good, I did like your video.

I need to start getting into physical art.

I have a empty canvas waiting for me...literally!

Art is a great investment in the long run.

for me i'd rather write papers than tests.

I feel at least for me I can work my way through a paper. Tests on the other hand are right or wrong, there's usually no grey area

I'm the opposite, I like it better when there's a right and wrong answer rather than a grey area.

That's probably why I'm a math person, and absolutely hate having to write papers. I'd rather take a test than write a paper any day.

I love writing papers, make it sound nice and BS and half the time you get a perfect graed <3

I learn much more writing papers. With multiple choice tests a lot of people binge on the study guide the day before, vomit the answers on the paper and hardly remember anything after they leave. I find that thinking critically about the details event helps you retain more information than just memorizing terms and names.

Obviously this isn't applicable across the board. A multiple choice math question is completely different from a history question.

^I've had multiple choice tests, and studying the day before is impossible, we don't get guides, and we have to digest from 6 to 10 chapters.

in psych class we learned that the worst thing to do in terms of studying for a test is cramming, because as soon as you stop studying you begin to forget.

it's best to study in chunks, like say the first day you study all of chapter 1 but spend a lot of time on it... then the next day review chapter 1 and move on to chapter 2. then the next day review chapters 1 & 2 and move on to 3, etc.

I don't like multiple choice tests.

Why not? They literally tell you the answers
