January 14, 201016 yr I don't understand how it even got as far as a lawsuit! How on earth is he claiming that four then-teenage boys in London at uni got hold of some unknown's demo tapes from LA  That was my reaction too :cheesy::awesome:
January 14, 201016 yr I don't understand how it even got as far as a lawsuit! How on earth is he claiming that four then-teenage boys in London at uni got hold of some unknown's demo tapes from LA  Agreed. He's got no evidence.
January 14, 201016 yr Yeah but evidence or no evidence their name is still gonna be dragged in the mud and sadly people are going to believe it
January 14, 201016 yr Not this again :dozey: I mean, we ALL wrote at least one Coldplay song, and you don't see us complaining for our money & rights
January 14, 201016 yr It reminds me of that bum in the simpsons who claimed he created Itchy and Scratchy. But this one obviously isn't true, and more than likely isn't a bum, unless... Lmao, +1 i was watching that the other day. Seriously though, I'm pretty sure Chris Nearly Choked on his Dickmann's laughing When he heard this one.
January 14, 201016 yr What the bump? Is the only question that really fits this situation. How about every musician ever sue Coldplay right now, because I'm pretty postive they have plagerized all of them.
January 14, 201016 yr I think Chris mentioned it once - why is it that only their popular songs are accused of plagiarism? I mean, at least be different and say they stole something like a B-side...
January 14, 201016 yr Don't worry about it, guys. I'm sure we'll never hear about it again. Coldplay's lawyers know what they're doing. :smug::P
January 14, 201016 yr I think when other bands saw the opportunity to sue a band (who is clearly better than them, by the way), the door was flung open. If any of this was true, it would have been pointed out back then, not ten years later. If anything was plagiarized, it would have to be Clocks. I've seen tons of Clock-sound-a-likes since it came out. In other words: haha! Oh! And I wrote Shiver. Feeling kind, I gave it to Coldplay, because I knew it would worth their while. For reals. :p
January 15, 201016 yr Ah, I believe this is quite the geniune bullshit. If he REALLY wrote these songs, he would've sued about TEN years ago. He's just probably desperate, and an attention whore. With Statriani's case, he had something, this guy's COMPLETELY unknown! As if they're gonna know who the hell this guy is. I sure don't! *pardon rant, I was really in disbelief and just kinda pissed. Illogical people tend to do that to me*
January 15, 201016 yr I'm the one who should be sueing! Chris stole my man(Jonny)! Now that requires REAL legal action! -o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o- But really, if he wants to prove his point, let's HEAR the songs. No really, I like anything sounded simular to Coldplay. Not as much as the real deal but, I'll listen.
January 15, 201016 yr If one more person cracks some stupid ass joke about how Coldplay stole this or that from them I swear I will cut my wrists.
January 15, 201016 yr Looks like Chris Martin has been STEALING SONGS SINCE THE BEGINNING OF HIS CAREER *waits patiently*
January 15, 201016 yr So we moved on up to some margaritas And we started making faces at the senoritas Playing drinking games But they were too drunk to beat us [/goodbye Blue]
January 15, 201016 yr They need to hurry up and make a statement like now Then again, that would be giving this guy the attention he doesn't deserve.
January 15, 201016 yr Then again, that would be giving this guy the attention he doesn't deserve. No cause look.... If the guy was just saying it then yes it's better not to make a statement but he's not just saying it he filed a lawsuit in court... So they need to make a statement as soon as possible if they expect people to believe them
