Hey, I just listened to basically all of this and I think it's really good. Besides, I remember seeing of video of you quite a long time ago and it really seems like your voice improved a lot since then ! :nice: This was all really nice to listen to. Oh and I'm also impressed by your piano skills (probably guitar skills as well but it's harder to tell for me).

Hmm I'd say keep working on your voice cause you really have a great potential, all is there left to do now is improving it a bit technically to make sure you always hit the right note. But like I said, it has really improved already !

Other than that it'd be easier to judge if the recording quality was better so I'd suggest improving that if you can. :p

 

As for my favourites :

- Winter's Chill. Definitely. Amazing track Mike.

- Lost within. I like the rough feeling that both your voice and the piano deliver. And I'm so impressed that you created that piano melody :stunned:. Fuck, that makes me feel so talentless haha!

Yeah vocals have always been a struggle, but this time around when recording I'm going to try to get them as best as I can, even if that means doing like 50 takes...haha

 

Also the sound quality was done on a pocket point and shoot camera so the quality isn't too good.

 

 

Glad you like those two! Winter's Chill I already recorded and put on my EP so unfortunately I won't be going back to that song. Lost Within...haha. Do you play any instruments?

I've been making music for almost a year now as thescientist, mostly concept albums and ep's, some collaborations/remixes, some unusual mixtapes, but generally trying to stay prolific, eccentric, and quite diverse in style. Hopefully succeeding in all those categories :)
