im not that offended that kids like coldplay. im thinking kids get over things fast, so they might like vlv or life in technicolor ii (cute puppets) but they probably will forget about coldplay soon. cuz their music taste hasnt fully developed, they might not fully enjoy all coldplay music.

so like green eyes, im not sure too many kids would listen to that a lot. to them its just a fad theyll keep listening to jobros or whatever.

of course there might be few who do actually know what real music is and will become true coldplay fans.

i was ten when i first coldplay :)

sorry for rambling on :)

I am a kid, and I happen to have quite the taste.

I never forgot about Coldplay in 2002 and 2003, I was only 6 but I liked Coldplay. I found the songs "In My Place" and "Clocks" to be great songs. And I liked a few other songs from 'A Rush Of Blood To The Head' as well. So, I am one of those few. Actually, no one in my class likes at all what I like. They call it Indian garbage. (It's indie, not Indian)

Oh, and Coldplay was already on Kidz Bop.

Really? Thats. . . kind of embarrassing. . . which song was it? Poor Coldplay! :( Would they have had any say in whether or not they wanted it on KidsBop?

It was "Speed of Sound". I have no idea if they have any say in these kinds of things, though.

EDIT: I just listened to a snippet of the Kidz Bop version. It's hilarious when the chorus of kids yell "LOOK UP" and "CLIMB UP" in such a joyful manner.

:dozey:

^^ You know i was wondering if Coldplay was kidzbopafied.

Lol, you imagine Coldplay surrounded by all of those kids?.. :laugh3:

nooooooo not kids bop!!!!! :( :(

anyways, ill try to block that from my brain!!

i didnt mean to offend you or anything. i was just saying in general, and its proved to be true by your comment that no one in your class likes it. i know its possible for kids to actually like coldplay, my little brother and cousin who are 6 and 8 both love coldplay and they could name everyone from the band! :) i was also kind of young when first listenin to coldplay. but what im saying is that the majority still dont have much of a good taste in music but thats ok because they are learning and if coldplay have been nominated maybe that shows that they are indeed learning. :) some of those kids will grow up to become true coldplayers and im not at all disturbed by that. but until then they will probably stick to some more kid friendly music and maybe will keep coldplay in the back of their head. :)

so yes you are one of the few that has good taste in music. :P

haha i refuse to listen to that version of speed of sound :P

im having fun voting for the crappy categories. picking random people. :P

Do I hope Coldplay wins? Of course. But to be honest, what kid aged 10 - 12 is going to listen to an amazing band like Coldplay? The "popular" music is Hip-hop/rap crap.

Best couple, the Baracks.. wow.

Seriously.

(I dislike Obama.)

^^ Don´t tell anyone else that..

I believe the only reason why america chose Obama was because if we didn´t we´d be called a racist country.

Well, you guys.. i´m in Mexico :sombrero:
