Nobody wants Moses? It's one of the best Coldplay songs ever and it's never been studio produced!

So...uh...with a few exceptions of song snippets we've heard (like Wedding Bells), I take it most people are judging these merely by their name? :inquisitive:

 

While I assume most of these won't make it onto the album,anyway, they certainly won't take songs from past eras, such as Moses, etc. In fact, I'd probably feel ripped off if a studio version of Moses was included on an LP. (if they ever release one, and I doubt they will, it would be through promotion or B-side)

 

Really though, I'm gonna guess that we don't yet know the names to most tracks on LP5. (keep in mind that songs can also go through name changes)

Nah, not pessimistic. It's realistic.

 

Judging from just the song titles, I do like "If I Ever Fall in Love Again" for no good reason.

I want to hear good songs. I used to get excited by song titles, but good song has never meant good title.

 

I mean, my favorite song is The Scientist, but that doesn't even make much sense. Yeah, I know he says science in a section of the song, but the title is sort of just artfully opaque...

 

I love the title Famous Old Painters, but if the song attached to it is bad, then keep it away from me.

 

I would assume we won't see much of this stuff reincarnated. I think Brian Eno has had them keeping stuff fresh.

 

All this said, if there was a song Famous Old Painters and it was an amazing song. Well...that'd be fucking awesome!!! :dance:

However....I have to agree...I really want to hear famous old painters, and cartoon heart...and i want to hear the finished version of wedding bells, but I don't think the wedding bells would be on it honestly :bigcry:

I wouldnt be suprised if FOP and Wedding Bells ends up on an EP later on though

I like Wedding Bells, but not for an album. Definitely EP, though. I've been intrigued by FOP since I heard the name, but yeah, not going to say I want it on an album. I just want to hear it someday.

Gardeners On The Frontline sounds cool :wacko:

The song's opening track will be a mournful, gospel remix of "Big Poppa" by the late Notorious B.I.G. Coldplay has confirmed this.

i dont care what they call the songs, i want a mixture of sparks, one i love, moses with a dash of yellow, so happy for a more acoustic sound
