Violet
I have mixed feelings about mine. If given the opportunity, however, I probably wouldn't change it, merely because I'm so used to it.
Technicolor Sparks
I don't really like it. It's alright I guess, but it's soooo common. Plus I've noticed that Emily is a common name for lesbians...and I'm not. So it just feels inaccurate.
Coldplay
Emily is a common name for lesbians That is quite a piece of information you got there.
Technicolor Sparks
That is quite a piece of information you got there. It sounds weird, but I personally know someone whose name is Emily who is gay, and I've read or heard about books where a gay character was called Emily. AND I've seen a few movies and tv shows like that too.

djibou
^Do it. I guess my name is ok, but it's too common, so much girls of my generation have that name. Well Marie-Pier is common in Quebec, maybe not elsewhere, but still.
Reilly
I don't think I've ever heard that name before. I used to live in Canuckland.

djibou
That's it :dozey: I live in the French speaking part, where we use a lot of composed names, like mine. It's just something that isn't common outside Quebec (and France). But otherwise, when I'm in class and they take the presences, there are always 2 or 3 girls who have to ask 'which Marie-Pier?' when they say our first name. Reilly
Oh, that'd piss me off. But I went to a French speaking school :anxious: Even though we never really spoke French much haha.
djibou
Yeah, it annoys me. Hahaha well I guess French speaking people in Ontario don't like that name. Are you fluent in French? :charming:
Reilly
No! Haha, I went to that school for 2 years before we moved to the suburbs. My teacher was this young hippy woman who never made us do anything haha, and in stereotypical fashion towards the end of the 2nd year she took off to San Francisco without telling anyone :awesome:

lovers.in.nj
I quite like my name actually Ainsley Belle.  That is such a pretty name! I for one, like my name. It's slightly annoying since there are a lot of Emilys in my classes but that's fine. My middle name is terrible though. My parents are the worst for it
