GWYNETH ARRANGES PRIVATE SCREENING OF FILM FOR JEALOUS CHRIS

 

Devoted GWYNETH PALTROW has insisted on a private screening of her new movie SYLVIA for boyfriend CHRIS MARTIN - as he's worried about the explicit sex scenes in the film.

 

The SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE beauty is aiming to pour oil on troubled waters by letting her COLDPLAY beau see the scenes for himself before the film opens in America later this month (OCT03).

 

Paltrow plays tragic poet SYLVIA PLATH in the biopic, and the film depicts her getting steamy with husband TED HUGHES, played by British actor DANIEL CRAIG.

 

And, according to British tabloid THE DAILY STAR, Paltrow wants to appease IN MY PLACE singer Martin, who's concerned about the sexual content.

 

A source says, "Gwyneth is aware the scenes could be shocking. She's told Chris all about them but she wants him to see the film for himself before anyone else.

 

"She and Chris are very sensitive about these things. She doesn't want to turn up at the premiere and upset Chris over some silly love scene."

That story was also in the Daily Star here yesterday, but it was worded a lot more harshly. They called Gwyn and Chris 'self-indulgent twats', described them as 'sickening' and 'soppy', they referred to Chris's late start in his romantic life (seriously when are they gonna let that go, so he was shy with girls when he was younger big deal, 21 isn't that late anyway :angry: :angry: )

 

The papers in this country really piss me off, I mean when they've got a something to promote they'll happily interview them (so they can sell THEIR paper) they'll say that Coldplay deserve to be the biggest band in the world and then when they are they're slammed for it :angry: :angry: :angry: :angry: :angry:

I don't wanna get all serious and miserable but I just think they should think about what they write. Surely they must know that there is a chance that celebrities are going to pick up a paper and read it - imagine how it must make you feel to pick up a paper and see a complete stranger calling you all the names under the sun.

 

I agree about the 'sickening' thing too, Chris and Gwyn cannot be expected to hide away in their house all day. Showing affection for your other half at a wedding isn't 'sickening' it's NORMAL!!!!! Grrrrr :angry: (I think I got outta bed on the wrong side today :stunned: )

It's curious the fact that these newspaper write the headlines. They say 'jealous Chris'. But then, when you read all the story you realize that he's JUST worried. But, yeah, it's more stricking calling him 'jealous'... :angry: :angry:

I know they turn it into a big thing I think it is very considerate Gwyneth to screen it earlier. Denzel Washington says he does the exact same thing for his wife so that she can know ahead of time, so why make such a big deal when Gwynnie does it!
