Depression has nothing to do with being strong or not; it is a chemical imbalance in the brain. If you had diabetes, you'd take medication for it, no question. Why is depression any different.

lol, because depression is affected by social factors like break-ups and traumatic experiences. You can feel suicidal and not have a chemical imbalance...and if you do have a mental imbalance, your happiness is still affected by your ability to cope with aforementioned experiences.

Depression isn't just biochemical crap in your brain.

why the hell didn't I just say this....

Well true; you can have situational depression, ie. with a breakup or death, etc.

I know that. Believe me I know that.

My statement was more of a generality.

I am planning to study this next fall. Why did it only last a semester?

I like economics and political science better.

This song cures depression

I never thought in a million years that Jay-Z would be a cure for depression! Him and all that diamond hand crap :laugh3:

Depression is the result of the government putting chemicals in our water to keep us down.

Depression is the result of God putting depression molecules in our rain water.

Is that what your "church" profess?

Don't question my beliefs

4 months isn't that long. My boyfriend moved to a different city when he finished uni about a year ago. Neither of us will be moving anytime soon because he's got a job there and I haven't finished my degree yet. I don't wanna know how much we've spent on train tickets/ petrol since he moved away. :embarrassed:

You're an idiot. If you knew someone with depression well enough, maybe you'd think differently.

This is why I don't have boyfriends.

I think I'm growing a bit fond of Dex and it's making me forget all about my boyfriend.
